There is four dogs here on the windy, rainy night. Grand Nite Grizz is on the tree, Maggie is setting on her hind to the right
Nite ch Willard is to the left of Grizz and a female out of Grizz. Willard is a son of Grizz. I was out numbered and all dogs had huge mouths and a good time when we could hear the which was very little. There is a huge coon in this tree of this bank drop off to the creek we were standing in.
Grizz also got to himself and had 2 or three in one tree. Then we had a great cornfield race that ended in a plum thicket with the meat. Called it a night since hearing the races was impossible.

Thanks Brian Bebber and Roger Lathrop for taking me hunting. I will be back to run some more of those huge coons.

Roger, that bank looks like the place where I shot that coon out with my pistol and had to go down and fetch it out of the water. Glad you guys had a good hunt, look on the bright side, it was not too hot!

Was for sure not to hot.The cold front was coming through,with a big drop in temperature.Made a mental note last night,to put a sweat shirt behind the seat today.
We tried to keep Elmo in Kansas to hunt this weekend,but said he was going to do some hunting in Kansas City,and maybe St Louis.I don't get it.Isn't the traffic pretty bad there?

Earl Howell and his big blue dog BOOMER that looks like Diamond Jim and his B&D Crook female on a layup.

Maggie was treed as well but she just sits back most of the time looking for fur to fall

I went to a Show and Hunt in Truxton tonight. Maggie won another Best of Show which finishes her to Champion on Bench

She scored 375+ no minus and won a another First Place win in two hunts.

Hmmmm!

She beat a english dog in the cast who has won 15,000 in PKC.

I took Sounder and Chris Baker took his walker Speed. We went .9 miles to speed treed across the road with the meat. Sounder was .7 treed with the meat. We called it a night.

Didn't get after anything tonight and didn't feel like going any further. Took Maggie alone. She needs more hunt for me but I will be patient. We will see down the road!
Training can be so good sometime and so flustrating the next.
Kind of like have a new car running smooth with no problems then he check engine light comes on.

Yes I owed Belle. Made her Gr Ch Nite champion. She had a big mouth and treed where the coon went up. FAST Tree dog and track dog. She hunted good for me. I wish I would have bred her to Timber before I sold her. She was a stay put tree dog in all company. Chewed a little on tree. She made a square on the tree and that was it she just treed hard

Impressive drifting type bang up treedog. Competition dog deluxe. Intense tree dog and I should have finished her to Grand but the money was to good to pass up.

She had her faults but no trash and was a natural from the start.
