He's well on his way. Can't wait til the weather gets alittle better. Took him out Christmas night with 6 inches snow on the ground. Tough night. I just wanted to see what he could do. First drop ran in there about mile and nothing. Come back to the truck and took him to the second drop. He got in there about 140 yds and struck. Ran it just a little ways. He ended up putting it in a hole. We send the coon tracks. But I was proud of him. For doing that and not for getting into any trouble. It's easy for a dog to get into trouble on nights like that for sure. The coon have been laying up not moving here any. I Set some beaver traps yesterday and didn't see the first coon track. So hopefully the snow will melt soon. But I thought I would share that with you.

I saw a 18 mo old pup out of him at a hunt tonight that didnt weigh over 45 lbs. He was sharp as a tack.......I like um small like that. the guy walked by me and I asked what he was out of and he said ugly stick and they were drawing out so we didnt have time to talk to find out what the mom is out of. thx

ugly is solid 65-70
pounds in huntin shape, ugly has a good mouth bawl on track that carries and is a steady chop mouth tree dog with a good locate that stands on the wood doesnt move or look around looks straight up, he is putting this in a very high percentage of his pups, ugly is located in central or western ky depending on whos house he is at

First of all , I'm gonna call like I see it and it does takes alot to suit me . The Uglystick pups I've had , has been good luck with them while other different bloodlines I've tried , I've gave away that didn't have what I like but others got them and were pleased with them . Again those were not the Uglystick pups .

So with that being said , I have a 2 yr. old female ( Boo ) off of Ugly x Queen that is NOT FOR SALE , that will show in the woods ,

I had another female that was off of Ugly that open on track( not running a dog track) 1st night out and then treed the 2nd night out . I sold her the 3rd night out under the tree , she and ran & treed 3 times that night . The reason I sold her is , I had a male booked out of that litter so I could breed back to Boo but didn't have enough males for me . So I didn't won't two gyps .

So now I have finally got my 3 rd Ugly pup ( Ugly & Bea ) , he's a male and boy do I like what I see already . As far as hunts and titles goes " I " like a dog to be around 3 , so they don't pick up alot of bad habits . Boo will hit the hunts in the future .

I RECOMMEND A UGLYSTICK PUP !!!!!

we are glad you like what you'v seen out of your ugly pups. we always like to hear the good & the bad on our pups. with out honest evaluations on our pups we dont know where to make improvments.
