Got a chance to get Bubba out about 530 this morning when i got home from work. He did a pretty nice job and was doing a good job at the tree. He hasnt really said a whole lot on the ground yet but he hates a coon and is not scared off the gun or anything so he will get it all together he just gets limited time with my schedule. i think it is all starting to click though off until sunday so if the wind calms some we will go again after the football game tonight.

He is at shawns now. Not sure if he will finish him or just hide hunt him this season. Freds been hunting his female pup some and she is acting pretty good. She can sure chop em off at the tree.

He is doing good. He would be doing a lot better if I could get him out regularly instead of a couple nights here then nothing for ten days to 2 weeks and a few nights more. He goes hunting everytime. Is at the tree smelling everytime just doesn't open or tree real regular. He has opened on track and treed some but then after two weeks off it takes the first couple woods to remember what his purpose is.

ballz

hi dave last nite one year old ballz did it,cold trailed and treed by himself locked hard had the meat!1st coon alone,9total in8 months,i was impressed coon are very thin here.short leashed him to the tree,couldnt see the coon ,payed attention to balz look were he was looking,34lbs coon one shot fell underneath him ,he tore that basterd up GRIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everyone has been telling me to hunt that dog hard use cage coon,run off buckets.He didnt need it,twice aweek and quality hunting time with this outstanding hound you bred was all it took,he is faster and quicker than most dogs i hunted him with and acurite.he was so impressed with himself he was in the middle of my bed after the hunt!I told him you anit that good yet get in your chair ,lol.I am so happy with this dog,brains, ability,nose tree.he is the the real deal,and a great companion

Chad and I hunted that gyp out of Grace 3 nights this past week. First night she split treed 3 times and had the coon twice. Next night she split once about 20 yards from Spike and help the pressure, they both had the coon. We treed 10 that night. Hunted her alone last night and she was 3 for 3. Not bad for 10 months old. She has a great mouth and is fast on the ground. She will be a TREEDOG by spring.

Dave just got a message from Dan Karns who got a female pup out east I believe in pennsylvania. He hunted her by herself last night and she treed and had the meat. The one male fred has is doing ok just needs straightened out and the jury is still out on the other male he has. The female he has is still all nerves and a fred gave her to a guy to try and get her settled down. Having troubles with bubba barking. He knows what he is doing and have seen him at the bottom of a tree by himself with a coon up it but he just won't bark. He did run a track the other night I just don't get him out consistently enough. Chris may have a guy that is gonna work with him a little with a live coon to try and get him to open his mouth. He is a identical clone of grit looks wise. Has an excellent mouth when he opend it.

Yea they are littermates. Three went over and he said the other two haven't been fooled with. He said his buddy tried to buy one and they wouldn't sell so I told him if they decide to get rid of them then let me know. He said he will keep in touch. I will ask him to text me a picture.

Here is a picture of one male fred kept. He is doing a pretty good job has treed some and ran track. Has all the tools just a lot of pup still in there. The other male and the female are not at his house the one is at his sons and a friend is working the little female with her shyness. Not the best picture but he is wired and doesnt stand still much.

Ballz

Dave spent 4 days with chris in ohio,ballz did an outstanding job hunting with your dogs out of grit.12hour drive down dumped him out and the hunt was on ,very well balanced,once again thankyou for the chance to own this fine young hound,chris can tll you more about ballz,i dont want to bragg him up,but he suits me,got home hunted him last nite,treed in an area with no coon,or so i thought,my buddies frist question are there any more like him left
