I just sent a Pop-A-Top female to Kansas to visit Smoke. She is a proven reproducer, the litter from her and Turk are really nice. Smoke should put some drive and tree in his pups and they should not be hard to look at either...........Tim

for the kind words and if you are ever lookin for a date for one of your females I'm sure Smoke will be more than pleased.

Tim, thanks for your help and also thank you for giveing Smoke a chance on such a fine female. We will see by the first of the year what we got.

Smoke is bred to produce and has a big drive gear lookin for a tree. The pups should be fantistic and good lookin to boot. Got two more females to breed when they come in. I'll post them when they call to bring them down.

Had a good weekend, finished Smoke to Dual Grand and got a first place win on Robin.
I was super proud of Robin, she spilt with the coon and two dogs had a possum 100 yards away and the forth dog was runnin circles around Robin and she never faltered. She had first and first on the second coon and we only had 13 minutes left in the hunt and she had it done in 6min. The wait back at the club house was the hard part!

Lance and Tim. We have some really nice females lined up to Smoke and are excited to get a little Smoke on the ground.
Hunting has not been the best the last few nights but the kitten coon are starting to come down and will make for some easy hunting for the pups.
Tonight we are staying close to home and just pleasure hunting. Will try and get some pics.

Danny Feris has a pup from the cross of Turk x Pearl that he really really likes, he is a treedog. There are other pups from that litter in southern MO. and Kansas that will also run and tree their own coon. Pearl is a reproducing female and I have high expectations for the pups from her and Smoke.........Tim

Roy my granddaughter Morgan took Barley to the Wisconsin State Youth Hunt and Show ( Morgans first Show ) . Barley won another win towards Grand show Champion .Blue Rooster II sure through some good and smart pups . Look on the message board under Wisconsin state youth hunt there is a really nice photo of Barley with his win.......Vicky

Tell Morgan Congrats. Barley is a super nice looking dog and he should do well. Have you had him hunting any more ?
Diesel is comming along. My grand-son has been working him on bench and we have been taking him hunting with the older dogs. He goes with them and shows improvement each time out.

Hunted Robin and Lou and had a good night. Lou is a little rusty but a few more outings and she will be on her game. Robin looked super good by herself and with company. She split from momma about 10 or 15 feet and had the coon.

OH YES he is a coon crazy dog just like his dad. I take him every night I can. He decided to go by himself while I was sick and treed a coon on the top of the power pole. I happened to hear him and went and picked him up . He has really gotten it together now . Tracking and treeing . I am so proud of him . He needs two more wins to make grand show . I am gonna start water racing him this month And I want to put him in the field trials. I am gonna wait awhile to comp hunt him. I am sold on the Mad Dog breed . Barley was such a early starter. ....Vicky
