I don`t know if Lou is bred yet but she seems to be filling out some.I sure hope she is as the last litter is making good ones from all the reports i`m getting.
Tree Daddy is his ol self always full of fire.I did get to hunt with a hound named Smoke owned by Matt Merrill of SW Missouri,he was off of a sister of Tree Daddy I can sure see the resemblence in the hound`s with Sue in the pedigree.John good luck with your male and i bet he sure is growing.I do have a few pictures from the roundup and i`ll try to get them posted in the next few days.

This picture was snapped after the hunt on saturday night.Matt Merrill and Dakota.Smoke is off of a sister of Tree Daddy named Gypsy.
Dakota lead Smoke out the last drop.I`m sure he was having a good time.

Tree Daddy is doing good for his age.I still get calls on people wanting to breed to him he is here and did miss the last two females bred to him in the summer 90 degree weather.I may have him drawed to see if he is still good before anybody drives to breed to him. Heat is hard on old males.the cooler weather he should be good for now.he has sired some good ones and i`m hoping he has a few more left in him.Good Luck to everybody who has pups or young hounds off of Tree Daddy.

Anybody have any new pictures of their offspring off of Tree Daddy? I `ve been getting calls on the Tree Daddy X Ruby and Tree Daddy X Honey pup`s just turning one year old.I hear the Tree Daddy Lou pups are turning it on and turning heads.feel free to post your hounds progress.good and bad.I`m hearing they seem to have colder nose and can push a track with all litters.I`ve heard of a few that are blow down tree dogs.so if you have something off the ol fella let us hear about em.


By the way Robert Fisher did get his Dna back on one of the two pups.The female is diffently off of Tree Daddy.the dam of these pups is off of Dutch and is a real coon dog.I`m excited about the addition to the Tree Daddy line.Thanks to Shawn for bringing her to and concidering Tree Daddy.

Robert Fisher still has one big male and one female off of Legend for sale everything is paid up on these pups.he said they are eating real good and he needs to find new homes for them he is keeping a pair for hisself so here`s his number.440 693 4246.

matt wished you could have made it over to hunt with tom and i saterday . we hunted image by his lonesome treed a coon then scud by herself and that crazy thing treed two, we turned drifter loose by his lonesome he made two trees and treed in the ground twice and i caught him twice busting out of out of those patches on his way to another woods twice and those road scare me. his first tree was an oak that had its leaves still on it ,didnt find the coon ,and the second tree i would say slick . i think he was trying to tree layups in that wind but his youth got the best of him. that was the first he has been hunted across open fields and i didnt know how he would do but as he has done many times before thowed mud in my eye as he raced to the timber. all of that and still just 7 months. till next time

John,I would have liked to see him go.I just have all these nice females here and Its hard to peel away and not put them in the timber.between You and Tom you had enough dog power without putting my sorry hounds into the mix.Tom did say that Drifter may be the loudest bluetick peroid that he has heard.not bad for a young one.I want to wish you all the best luck in the world with him.I told you I thought he could be someting special.Thanks for putting the timber time with him.
Yes these roads are rough on our hounds we about lost a pair the other night King Legends full littermate brother was smacked by a semi and hit him just right that it knocked him out.330 dollars at the vet.and will be out for a couple weeks.Ted was slaying the coon with him too.I bet the coon are happy he will be out of commision for a couple weeks.

hunted drifter couple of nites ago and turned him by his self and treed two singles with coon and a slick tree (missed coon by five or six trees) and once in the ground. he hunts like an old dog but it wasn't so good last nite turned with two other dogs and had first strike and he run me a whitetail deer. so i left him in the truck until the other two guys was done and gary and i turned him loose by his self and he run another deer, he paid for that one with tri-tronics. we caught him up and dumped him again when he crested the hill he sight chased the deer and he paid for that one to! turned him again and treed a den . we then went home. i sometimes forget how young this pup is seeing how he just turned 8 months old the 23 of nov. because he acts like hes 3 or 4 years old. i have seen him part deer on the way to the woods without messing with them hopefully its just the rut and not a habit. going to turn him friday nite and see what happens hope you guys had a good thanksgiving and is legend still in ohio

John,sounds like you have a good one.I havn`t seen much trash porblems out of the Tree Daddy offspring.sounds like your nipping it before it becomes a problem.I feel thats the best way to handle it.not afraid of the dark big mouth will split so he fits the bill for a keeper.good luck with him John. not been doing a whole lot picked up a bug and its kicked my butt.about over it hounds havn`t been hunted for a week now.I`ll be glad to get out for a few drops tonight.good hunting.

I can't wait for the Bluetick world to see her she is a high senting son oops I mean daughter of a Tree Daddy, I just am so excited! drifter is one of the loudest dogs ive heard and has a locate that a 2 year old could call. and there is no guessing when hes treed if you didnt here the locate. he has the potential to be a future stud dog if lord willing.
