Hey all---sounds like it went well with the hound after all. Did she have plenty of dampness for a good scent?

Don't feel bad Mike, 2 winters ago I was huntin' by myself with 'ol Gem, she got treed in a big 'ol cottonwood along a creek bank. The coon was hunkered down in the fork way up, it took 1 box of shells too get that coon out. I kept hittin' all around it, the more I shot the madder I got, she got to lookin' at me like well come on with it. It finally got tired of gettin' shot at and started climbin' down, I was hot my glasses would steam up, after 20 min. we got it with the last shell, I carry plenty of ammo after that. I couldn't have done any better with a gatlin gun!!!!!! The thought of goin' home too get the chainsaw crossed my mind. Sprinklin' up here now.

I have a 3x10 Bushnell scope on my Ruger 10-22. I might miss 1-3 times but it will finally roll out. I can't shoot off shoulder any more. Have to have a rest now. Trees all ways around some where.

He only eats see food anything he see's he eats!!!!! He's 24 you'd think he would have quit growing by now but guess not. He is already way taller than TD or I. But then again just about everyone is taller than me!! LOL There is one good thing about being short the rain hits me last!!
