The Gr Nt Ch Island City Blue Sam dog would have fit his bill. Gr Nt Ch Davis Creek Levi would have too.

Tim Manning said the loudest dog he ever hunted with was a female out of Spanky and my QC Molly dog. The Jazz female Ron Taylor had was suppossed to be pretty loud.

Anyway at the link below I made a post(about 4 posts down) on Danny's thread. Thought you might like to chime in, even if it is an old plain behind the barn never seen a hunt LOOOUUUD COOONDAAWG. That would be worthy of passing on what Spanky had.

Ole Mad Dog Spanky died in 2000, I believe. He was sterile for several years prior to his death. I don't think that there are many Grand sons of his around. There was a Grand Son that was a Gr NT Ch in Tenn that was advertised in the Blue Book a few years ago, he went back to Spanky x Inga. There is a man in Texas that has dogs that go back to Spanky and a Smokey River female.......Tim

Grandsons to Cos' ol Spanky dog......... Pounder, Piazon, Shockey and Oppy. I also know of a PR' male still alive that is directly out of Spanky. He is around 14 yrs old but still alive as of today.....Just a few that I know of...........Jon

Joe Lambers of Pilot Grove saved some seman off the Spanky dog that Terry Estill use to own. I believe he has some pups off him now or young dogs. I haven't spoke with Joe in a while. I think you remember the dog they called Spanky. He sure was a loud sucker that is for sure.

I didn't make it either to Macon. I thought the weather was going to get bad so I stayed close to home.

That Spanky dog was a littermate to Dual Gr Nolan Creek Go Yonder Rowdy (Mad Dog Spanky x Kasner's Kandy) owned by Jerry West in central Texas. I didn't know that he had stored seman on him, I may have to check on it. Wouldn't mind having a grand daughter of ole Spanky to cross back on Turk........Tim

The dogs looked good and we came away with the wins. We drew out with some real nice hounds and some good hunters and sportsmen. We got there attention!

Paul has had some phone calls interested in his females, he says that they are not for sale. What is interesting is that the calls are coming from WALKER men.........Tim

I sure wish ole Spanky would have had a normal reproducing life (he went sterile at 4 1/2 years old). I believe he would have had a great impact on the breed. A lot of our dogs have his blood flowing through their veins helping us produce the type of dog that it takes to compete with the Top Walkers in our area..........Tim

The GR NT CH in Tenn that I spoke of was sired by NT CH Mad Dog Spud (Spanky x Inga)I can't remember the mans name but it was in one of the Blue Books 6 or 7 yrs ago. Might be some old blood there, I am going to dig through some of my old Blue Books to see if I can find out anything............Tim

Got a phone call from Danny Feris, he sure is proud of his pup (Turk x Pearl,Pop-A-Top bred) that he calls Psycho. Danny says that he is making a real tree dog that gets into the dark quick and gets treed quicker. He is just about ready for the hunts so I expect to see him any time in the winners circle...........Tim

Have been getting phone calls most every day about Turk pups , the older ones are getting the job done in style and will start showing up in the hunts. I want to thank all of those that believed in Turk and his offspring. It looks like he will be having 10 to 15 pups in the hunts each spring and fall , next falls winners are being bred now...............Tim
