Just remember your getting in shape for pulling on those dog leads in a few weeks. Chuck have a good time. Breezy here but nice been transplanting some plants and getting things ready for the SNOW YUK!!!! Rex saw 2 does this morning on top of hill were moving pretty quick I'm assuming something spooked them.

TD one thing about my dogs you don't have to lead them back to the truck. Snap a lead on them and they know to heel. Only way to lead on.

Went to southern In. today, dead coyote on river hill on south side---there's one that won't bother your deer Spotty. Is that your coonhuntin' buggy in the background Mike?

Mornin' gents---a little windy last nite wasn't it Spotty? Sounds like you had a good run though. My hounds aint real loud, but one of the blue pups may be my fog horn. They aint as loud as Gut's seven that's for sure, I beleive you could here her in a tornado.

Morning everyone. Nice report Rex. Good race and the best part was seeing them. Sore from climbing up and down the ladder yesterday. I hope that is all the tree trimming for this year. Be gone the biggest part of the day. We have a meat shoot today.

Went to inlaws for free meal last nite or would have went for a run myself. It was nice out last nite, had the pups runnin' loose yesterday most of the afternoon, when they get done playin' its all business, nose too the ground. I'll go out on a limb and say it won't take 'em long too pick it up( famous last words?)

TD a meat shoot is where women and men compete shooting at a target with a BB gun or shotgun. It is whatever we decide to hold. The person that comes closet to the center is the winner. Now you think a shotgun is easy. Nope. You all shoot the same shell and the same distance. It is not as easy as it looks. BB gun you all shoot the same gun. Shotgun you bring your own and there is a test tube we checked with to make sure it is a legal meat gun. The meat wheel we have package meat and you buy tickets for two dollars a piece and you spin the wheel. The number it lands on is the winner. You will have your choice of steaks, chops, sausage, and back and sometimes a side of ribs. Takes a lot of work to put one on but it is worth it. The shooters usually pay any where from $2.00-$5.00 and entry. There will be ten sheets with the last one being 100% payback. The other usually pays back around 60%. Rex all together it was well over $500.00 worth of meat. Poundage I don't know. I will check the books and see.
