An elderly man in Florida had owned a large farm for several years. He had a large pond in the back. It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some orange, and lime trees.

One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over. He grabbed a five-gallon bucket to bring back some fruit.

As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond.

He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end. One of the women shouted to him, 'we're not coming out until you leave!' The old man frowned, 'I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked..

Holding the bucket up, he said, 'I'm here to feed the alligator.'

Some old men can still think fast !!! ;}

John... I never doubt what my BIG God can do .. My oldest son , Jonathan was 7 in a 1/2 weeks early when he was born .. He was in icu for a month.. He could not breathe on his own ..the ventilator breathed 89 % for him.. The drs said my little Jonathan might not make it .. I ALWAYS knew God had bigger plans for Jonathan (it's why his name means Gods gift) .. Jonathan had needles in his head , feet and hands .. He was hooked up to everything you could think of .. I told the dr's .. I WILL walk out of this hospital with my son.. And I did about one month later .. He weighed 5,12 when he was born .. And 4 pounds the day I took him home .. From that moment on .. God has shown me more miracles than I can count !! That's the honest truth .. !! I'm not perfect , but I know in my heart what God can do !!! And has done !!! I'm a believer of REAL miracles ... I AM ONE !!!
Keep your faith my dear John !!!! God is bigger than any problem .. He's our healer !!! He's everything we may need ..

I'm still praying John!!
Thank you for posting the pic !! Ill have to post one of Jonathan in the hospital one day ..

Good afternoon gang. A few showers this morning still only 78 here.
John so happy baby Kaylee is improving. We will still be praying for her and keeping her close to our hearts.. Great joke.
Rob I dont no why they don't hold more hunts in the fall and winter. Looks to me it would cut down on spider spotting for coons and you could really see what kinda of hounds is out there. there be some slick treeing idiots during the rut.
English Bob your going to love it up here. Walmart 5 min away and enough hunting to keep your heart content. Mountains and lots of Amish farm land. You found a place yet? If not pm your# and i'll help ya out.
Wb acorn are few and far between for some reason. Plenty of berries.
Got to go prayers to all

Shawn,

I think I have. Supposed to meet a guy Friday morning when I get up there. My wife will be staying here probally 'til at least April cuz she has her own business here. Anyway, the place I have found(hopefully) is about 5-7 miles north of Fishersville. It's on a horse farm called Hermitage Hill Farm. It's just a 1 bedroom apt.,but I think I'll like it. Found it on craigslist. The owner had pics of it on the ad.Looks good. And it's just been remodeled. What part of Va. you from?

Lot of farms but hard hunting because of all the roads. But the good news is youll only be about 30 so min from me and yrp hunter. He going to let you keep your hounds there?

No,

I've done got rid of everything but one. I had to make a career change due to a work-related back injury I had back in 2001. I worked for 30 some years framing custom homes, but it was taking a toll on me after the accident. I knew when I decided to make a career change that I would more than likely have to take a job out of town. So,I started sellin' everything I had. Sold my Gr.Nt.Ch.,my Nt.Ch.,and couple other decent young dogs. Anyway, that is where I'm at now. Sometimes life throws a bag of lemons your way.All you can do is do your best to make lemonade. I am bringing my light with me. I'd love to go hunt with you some night if that is okay.

English Bob I really hate to hear that. You are more than welcome to hunt with me any night. We hunt about 4 nights a week. With school starting back soon i'll be looking for someone to hunt with. I don't like taking the kids on school nights. I don't have the best hounds in the world but there my hounds and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Rob I no what your saying but it would be cool to see some of them big name hounds do it during the rut. It would separate the men from the boys. Plus during the fall it would be no ? If the coon was seen are not. Untill the rut came in then youll haft to deal with dens. I count dens as no coon seen but I won't get on them when they tree on one.

Maybe you luck will change for the better now. You get settled in maybe you can get a dog or two.

Really cooling down here and getting dark. Wind picking up some. Looks like rain. They have been calling for t-storms all day.

Evening folks!

Hey everyone! Prayers still to all in need in any way!

Shannon... Thanks and I send good thoughts your way! When i think of your lil baby... and how tough it must have been... I wonder how my parents made it thru my oldest sister, Cassandras birth. At 2 lbs 10 oz she was the youngest and smallest to live here in Boston... Dropped below 2 lbs...incubator for way too long and not able to be held(it wsa SO different then!) Sure she has some physical issues and emotional ones...but she is 65 yrs old and does darned well, a college grad etc.... a true miracle for sure as are all preemies...and all healthy babies as well.... Life is a GIFT!
Eng.Bob... too cool that you will be able to hunt with a bunch of sweettea-ers! I know all about losing a career due to injury! Hope your future in the new place is awesome and that once you and your wife reunite all is Great!
WB... that pup is so cute... and I KNOW you cook better than me... EVERYBODY does! LOL....

Good stuff Corky! lol... I HATE that cardiologists diet! Grr on that! lol...

BEAUTIFUL day here today! Warm but dry. Bob got the last of the weed whacking done... I sat out in the sun some this morning daydreaming.... NICE! Feels good right now with the windows open etc.... Love to sleep with the windows open!!!
Have a Great night all! HappyHunting, Heather

Good morning everyone.
65 here, little rain through the night.
Bond
Will do that! Yes we will take your entry and anyone elses you might bring with ya. Be glad to have you. Entries are really low up here this year. Walker hunt in Aug. Bluetick hunt in Oct.
Corky
Good jokes. You might as well come up to, if others intend to.

Have a good day.
Prayers sent.

The hole is a little off but should be just fine. Now to just get the pups on the ground.
