There were 5 young dogs sired by John II (all different mothers) that hunted at the Reunion, they won some casts and they lost some, but one thing was said about each and every one they were outstanding get treed tree dogs. All of these dogs are capable of winning a hunt and you will be hearing about them and several others in the near future. Thanks guys for all the compliments.............Tim

Ty and I both drew 3 different John II dogs and I will say they are get treed coon dogs. I hunted with Smoke and Ranger. Both get gone, push a track and treed coons and did it in style. Both dogs have outstanding handlers and owners. Ty drew a female named Robin and he was really impressed with her. He was also very impressed with her owner Roy Clifton. Ty also had Phil Vogel on the cast and really enjoyed his hunt with them. I think he tried to drown them but that is another story.

Next year I will have my John II X Abby pup ready.

I kept asking Ty if he had ever seen the show Swamp People!! I was ok with everything but I told him the first alligator that we see and I'm gone!haha We had fun and we had a very good cast of hunters. I enjoyed hunting with Ty and think he is an outstanding young man. The Bluetick breed will be the better with him as he grows up.

Had a phone call from Damon Ferrell about a couple of his young dogs sired by John II. He just got his NT CH Rowdy male out of the Vets, had some ear and internal problems, should be ready to start hunting in 4 or 5 wks (made NT CH with 3 1st). He also has a little female from GR CH NT CH Hey Jude that he calls Daisy that he plans on hunting in the Young Guns this year. She is a ball of fire and will sure get treed............Tim

Just got in. BOZO took an old, cold track, and drove it. He struck quick, got in about 560yds, let out the big 3 bawl locate and had a coon. My young JOHN II male was at the tree when I arrived. He wasnt barking, but with some encouragement he got on the tree(still no bark). I put him on lead and he instantly stopped standing and showing interest. I let him off, and he got right back on tree. After about 15 minutes, I led BOZO out and let my pup and my buddy's 10 month old english male stay at the tree. Hes already a good dog. Got 150 yds out and ole Jack(my pup) started treeing with Henry!!!!................Tim, he showed a little promise last night. I've only taken him out 3 times. And he still hasn't seen a caged coon. He's been around the tree each time, but not showed much interest. Last night was lots of fun!

Paul and I plan on being there, Paul wants to hunt his Sally female but thinks she is coming in heat. Paul has a couple others to choose from that won't embarass him. I plan on having my Ranger dog there.........Tim

We are driving up on tuesday. We are going to get Tonto collected on the way. We will have to leave friday night at draw out to be back for Beaux's graduation on saturday. We look forward to visiting with everyone and will give it everything we have on thursday night. Not sure exactly what will come with us besides Tonto, Jazz, and Storm. As they say down here this is a fluid situation as far as which dogs make the trip. Lance

Will be breeding NT CH CH PR Reed's Northwoods Queen to Dual Grand PR Mad-Dog Northern Zip this week. Queen is a Hard Hunting, go yonder, get treed, hard treeing COON DOG, that is very accurate. This should be a cross that produces dogs with the same abilities..............Tim
