This is a great ministry guys, keep on casting your bread upon the water, for after many days you will find it again.(Ecc. 11:1)

Keep on spreading God's word with great boldness, and never put to rest something that God has blessed. Once when I was
at a low point in ministry, I turned to God's word for guidance and He showed me Jude 1:17-23. I hope that it may also help
anyone out there who needs encouragement to persevere in thier ministry.

Ron, the family and I are considering attending B&T days. If we do I would like to look you up and have a visit.

We have considered how Jesus is truly The Way to many good things: He is The Way... To a better life (by correcting misconceptions and teaching us to seek new goals) To forgiveness of sins (by offering Himself as a propitiation, or sacrifice, for our sins) To God (by helping us first to comprehend God, then to be able to approach Him in a close, personal relationship) Out of religious confusion (through His own example, and by guiding us through His apostles' doctrine)


WHY JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE ??????

HE HAS PREPARED A PLACE FOR US...
As He told His disciples the night before His crucifixion
"for I go to prepare a place for you" - Jn 14:2

HE WILL COME AND RECEIVE US TO HIMSELF...
As Jesus told His disciples - Jn 14:3
As Paul wrote of this wonderful event - 1Th 4:15-17

HE WILL JUDGE AS TO WHO WILL ENTER LIFE ETERNAL...
As depicted in the final judgment scene - Mt 25:31,41
As described by Paul - 2Co 5:10

HE IS WHAT MAKES ETERNAL LIFE WONDERFUL...
Together with God, who will dwell with men - Re 21:1-4
They shall be the "temple" - Re 21:22
Jesus will be the "light" - Re 21:23
They shall be source of "the water of life" - Re 22:1-5
Jesus makes eternal life what it is, which explains Paul's
aspirations - cf. 2Co 5:8; Php 1:23

This has always been one of my favorite verses , but since I had my accident, it has really became real to me. It says " All things work together for good to them who love GOD and are the called according to his purpose." I may not exactly know right now the reason why it happened , but there is a reason it happened and it will work together for my benefit. Please pray that I will learn patience, and let JESUS TAKE FULL CONTROL of everthing. Please pray also for my family especially my wife because she has been doing my work and hers to , I am afraid its going to burn her out if she does not get some rest. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER. Also pray for my kids they have been through it too. Thanks yall for this post so we can uplift and pray for each other. GOD BLESS YALL.

Va Reb.. Extra prayers your way and to your wife. My own accident was 10-02-97 and patience was the hardest thing for me to learn. I had all the patience in the world for other people,as I was a special needs riding instructor...but not for my self. HATED to see other people do MY chores etc... Funny how brain injury FORCES you to learn patience if you plan to stay happy GOD teaches us on many ways... Bad things CAN lead to good. I had my accident... I had "free time" and was no longer a workacholic. Bob was widowed and needed a new start.... We bumped into each other again and suddenly we became a family... I found this silly site and we found coonhunting again... We made friends on here and... WELL waht I'm saying is EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON! You are right.... EXTRA prayers your way! May you ALWAYS find ONE good thing to make you smile EVERY DAY...

ALso sending some extra prayers for those, Like Ron who will be travelling to BnT days etc... SAFE travels. Some HUGE extra prayers for the STORM victims I just read about etc... also!
May your Sunday be filled with a closeness to God. May God reach out and touch Someone today who REALLY needs to be touched......

... Speaking of brain injury...

I came on here to request a prayer. Last night at a little family gathering with Bob's aunt, we learned that a young distant relative of Bobs has a terrible health issue... She is pregnant and they just got sent to CHildrens Hospital in Boston for a detailed internal ultrasound. Her baby has no kidneys... this is fatal for the baby SOON... since the baby is going to produce the amniotic fluid shortly(the mother produces the fluid for a while then the baby does)... Please pray for this young family as this Knowledge must be truly awful... sometimes I think technology is not so good... To know she will lose this baby they have already grown to love must be awful...

Since my accident, my family has really been through it . I am not askin prayer for myself, but for my wife and kids. My wife is probally the strongest CHRISTIAN woman I know, but shes almost at the breaking point trying to take care of me and my 2 teenage kids. Please pray for my wife that JESUS would give her the will and courage to press on. Also please pray for my 2 teenage kids that they would draw close to the LORD JESUS CHRIST through this time in their lives. Thank yall so much, and GOD BLESS YALL.

Psalms Ch. 28 Vs. 6 & 7
[6] Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
[7] The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

I praise the Lord for what he has done for me. He has helped me and my family though so many things in our life.
And to think that I fail him everyday, ya see I don't tell as many people as I should about his loving grace, how he GAVE his life FREELY on the CROSS of CALVARY FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.
