70 degrees finally got to the tree and headed back if I can get Linkous out of the berry patch he is like a big ole bear out there eating hmm I wonder when he gets his belly full if he will lay down and go to sleep

Berry patch...Bond would walk half a mile out of the way to eat the red rasberrys, even stopped the truck and started eating them off the side of the road...man was it hot last night and both of us went to the tree you would think we would lose some weight....LOL

I sure wish the time would change this starting at 9:30 and not getting in the bed until 1:00 sucks

was up on the mountain in Giles County Tuesday when we had a bad storm then right at sun set got these colors in the sky as the storm left...I called it Storm Set...thought it was neat

Another hot one here today.

Thanks for all the prayers for my nephews daughter. She is hanging in there but the prognosis is not favorable. I learned today that the nurse in delivery room dropped the baby shorty after her birth and the little one has a skull fracture to go with her other problems. I appreciate everyone's prayers and concern. I will keep everyone updated.


I feel bad for the nurse also, this has to be really hard on her.

Dave & Wendell - I give you guys credit for hunting in this heat. I am much too lazy to hunt when it is like this.

Sorry I was absent so long! Had a computer issue... all fixed for now! I hope....

HOT... totally gross hot... tomorrow not only the excessive heat warning but also air quality. i sure wont be out much!
All fine here...other than my computer illness...LOL.. We are staying cool in the house with the ac(me and the dawgs that is) Bob left work early... they get WAY into the 100s with the ovens going! YUCK!
OH... You'll all be amused to know a neighbor right behind us has now seen bear tracks... MOST of you know I'm a BIG baby with bears. I was shook up about the sightings in neighboring towns...now we're seperated by a small cul de sac road...LOL... I'm DOOMED! Esp. with all my berries etc! ACKKKkkk... I'lll NEVER go out after dark again...EVER!

Well just got in and its 75. Put two up tonight. First one was quick, less than ten min. Second one was about 20. Couldn't ask for a better night with the girls.
Heather Heather them old bears won't bother you. I understand though. Funny thing is if I had to worry about them I could never hunt. Just buy you some bear spray and a horn. Tell Bob to stay cool.
Corky, vabluegal and Mike see you'll saturday and bring some cool weather with ya.

Supposed to be bad again tomorrow...then get better after that Thank Goodness! Sick of being stuck inside!

Bears...LOL... You know... when I named our farm "Bear Hill Farm"... it was after a teeny tiny lil pony stallion named "Boo Boo Bear"....lol... I figure if I ever DO se a bear here I'll just make myself BIG... and RUN at it screaming! lol... Or die in my tracks... either one....

Going to mums for the weekend... thank goodness for AC and inside chores to do! NO gardening THIS weekend!

Raccoons and kitties... reminds me of the hayloft gamecam days here.... It was fun to watch the cats and kits play together etc...

Morning all.
Back from camping. Service for my phone was extremely bad up there. Enjoyed myself except for the heat. Heck you would start sweating just sitting outside. When we would have a camp fire we sat 25' from it. The one family with us had a boat, so this helped. One afternoon at waterpark. Swimming. Well I did about as much as I could with my knee. Glad to be home.
