Good afternoon. Rained off and on all day.

A short work week this week. Only 2 more days, looking forward to 4 day weekend.

All - thanks for the congrats on our anniversary. She is a pretty good ole gal, I will keep her around. I just wish she would go coon hunting so I would have help handling the dogs.

Rob - prayers for your friend. I have read about lymes disease, that is pretty painful.

Corky - glad to hear mom is home.

Shawn - good luck building that box.

Dave - nice pic of sleeping beauty.

Have a great night everyone.

Sleeping beauty, cool! She is lying down on her back right?

SO.. other than talk about ticks... I forget anything else! lol

I'm exhausted. Worked my tail off at mums and my whole body hurts. I needed to get the house as clean as I could since my sisters will visit next Sat....Next weekend I have OFF but will go in on Sunday I think with Bob to celebrate mums 94th Bday which is July third!! Will be making key lime pies again! ONE will be marked for mum ONLY!!!

OK... gotta see what else is up on here. Had a HARD time siging on tonight.... I HATE when that happens!
Have a Great night and HappyHunting!! Heather

The Jewish Elbow…
A Jewish grandmother is giving directions to her grown grandson who is coming to visit with his wife.

"You come to the front door of the apartments. I am in apartment 301 . There is a big panel at the front door. With your elbow, push button 301. I will buzz you in. Come inside and the elevator is on the right. Get in, and with your elbow, push 3rd Floor. When you get out, I'm on the left. With your elbow, hit my doorbell. OK?"

"Grandma, that sounds easy, but, why am I hitting all these buttons with my elbow? .........

"What . .. . .. .. You're coming empty handed?"

May be a repeat

Irish blonde...

An attractive blonde from Cork , Ireland , arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty thousand dollars in a single roll of the dice.

She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." with that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!"
As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed. "Yes! Yes! I won, I won!" She hugged each of the dealers, picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.

The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded.

Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching."

MORAL OF THE STORY

Not all Irish are drunks, not all blondes are dumb,
..... but all men...are men!

Corky glad things are getting better for you.
John & Rob the box is almost done. Just got to finish the wiring. I put lites on it, so all I haft to do is hit a switch and its lites up the whole area behind the truck. Its more of a topper than a box. Easy on and easy off.

Hi Everyone!

LOL... you guys and your jokes make me smile!

Prayers to all in need, hoping the weather and flooding etc... do as Little harm as possible ANYWHERE!
Still hot and muggy here. Rain held off today. Overcast and nice for Bobs fishing trip....but he is a dummy so he is sunburned! LOL... They got their limit of stripers early on and satyed out there fishing and socializing and having a Great time. Bob got a new recipe to cook the fish on the grill... aince I HATED it last time no matter how I tried to cook it. It was AWESOME! Some olive oil, butter and fresh basil...and YUM! It was amazing! Nice fresh zuccini from the garden on the grill..and I was the "gatherer"...I picked a bowl of black rasberries, purple raspberries and some AMAZINGLY prefectly ripe mulberries...and I stuck them in the blender with some frozen strawberries(too hard to grow here) with a little ice and a little spiced rum...and we had some delicious berry daquiris with the meal. Almost totally home grown and caught meal... rare for us city folk! lol... Bob is sleeping already... lol... I can't believe he lasted as long as he did after taking bonine to prevent sea sickness out there. Oh I had berries and some sort of fresh beans that are growing out there for breakfast too! lol... I know one plant is pinto beans but NO clue what the others are... they came from an OLD bag of 16 bean soup I cucked out for the critters on the compost...and we ended up with at least 3 plants... I SAW the pinto bean sprout but not the others... I know one is snow peas or snap peas..(ow I forget the name!)...
Anyway... I am covered with scratches and bug bites and FULL of berries! YUM! The raccoons will be FEASTING on the mulberries tonite!!! THe raccoons left a great track across the road...coming from the wetlands to our house in the yellow stripe paint! lol... I took pix but they are hard to see sadly... Bob found them in the morning and got me to see them. COOL! lol...
SO... we're enjoying Bob's vacation so far and his foot is GREAT!
have a great night, HappyHunting Etc! Heather

Grandbaby is precious.
Corky,
glad your mom is home.

did not make it anywhere this weekend, got home form work Saturday and crashed. Went to go on the lake Sunday boat battery dead. By the time I tried charging and everything to late to go out. So we went to the river instead. Decided to play some in the river while leaving and poof I now have no power sterring. So Thursday looks like I will be puttin on a steering pump.
Been working evenings/nights this week so hunting is out. Will try to go Friday and Saturday night.
Hoping the rain will stop so I can finish mowing the yard.

Prayers for every one in need.
I hope every one has a great weekend.

Good rainy morning. Looks like I get a extra day this week. 68 hear and pouring.

Made it out for one drop last night. Hit a track within 100 yards of the truck and ran it another 200 up the creek and wham.

Corky love eggplant and green tomatoes fried up in butter. My tomatoes plants are full of blooms and little tomatoes.

Rob I will try and get some pics up. Never can get the laptop. Two teenagers. Lol.

Check back in later.

Hi THere!

I'll say it... I HATE EGGPLANT! lol... So far I've never found a way I like it...but maybe someday?

Bob and I went for our annual ride on the bike for fried calms and onion rings. PERFECT weather to ride! No sweatshirt needed even coming home as it got dark! We tried some fried mushrooms and zucchini there this yr too... next yr we'll stick to the mushrooms which were AWESOME but the zucchini was kinda limp and blah....lol... Ate WAY too much but then we rode and rode all around RI...till some fireworks started and we decided to get home since we weren't sure how Daisy would handle them... she is sleeping like a BABY the little twit...lol...Ingoring all the towns having fireworks tonite... I am sore from the ride but LOVED to be out so long.
Mum turned 94 today! She went out to dinner with friends! Can't wait to see her Sunday PM. We'll bring her key lime pies and we'll get to see all my sisters meet their great niece Hannah!
Supposed to be hot right thru the weekend if I recall. A heat wave, over 90 etc... We'll see. Bob FINALLY got a good mowing in today. So many days with just enough rain to not be able to mow...wood for the grass, the weeds and the Wild Flowers which are doing great.
Hope you all have a Great night, Prayers to all in need, wishing you only GOOD LUCK Michael! Happy Hunting to all! And Happy4th too! Heather
