Hope you get it figured out. Had Mace out last night. First drop was by himself. He struck and worked a track about 350 yrds and treed. I went to him and shined the tree. I couldnt see anything. I noticed a rotten place down at the base so I checked it out. Sure enough it went up into the tree. I got down on my knees and stuck my head up in it and checked it out. The coon was in there looking down at me. The next drop was with a friends walker bitch. We turned loose and as usual he didnt want anything to do with what she was doing. She struck and ran down the creek and treed. After a few minutes he finally eased down that way. We drove around to her and when we got there he was on down the creek past her. The walker had a big ole sow coon treed. While they were shooting it out Mace struck down there where he was at. He eventually treed and we went to see what he was up to. It was another den in a big ole sycamore tree. I looked up into as far as I could see and it split off. Couldnt see the coon but you could hear him climbing up in there. Had a pretty good night.

i took him back to the vet today, they done some test and x-rays. they think its pneumonia. put him on some stronger antibiotics and steroids.
