Leviticus ch. 4 vs. 27-31
[27] And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
[28] Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
[29] And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
[30] And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
[31] And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

I am sure thankful we DO NOT have to get a priest to make an offering for our sins.

JESUS SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR OUR SINS!!!!

[1] For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
[2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
[3] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
[4] For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
[8] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
[9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
[10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
[11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
[12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

I'm sure you all remember VA REB he works with me and Jeffrey poff well he fell today about 15 ft and landed on his shoulders and neck and was airlifted to the hospital they say he has 3 fractured vertebra and broke finger .Just pray for him please.

Mr. Brad and Mr.Ron I would like to say that last nite was a great nite . My wife rededicated her life to the LORD last nite at Church. She was baptised when she was younger and decided to get rebaptised know that she is a little older. I am one proud husband but i know im not nearly as proud as the GOOD LORD above . PRAISE GOD AND BRING GLORY TO GOD FOR ALL THINGS.

Thanks guys , This is the first thread i normally visit when i get on here. I was wondering if anyone on here has been to a cowboy church before? Me and my wife started goin to one about two months ago. I have had more fun goin to this church than i ever have any other one. We have a good preacher thats preaches out of the bible and preaches GODS word not just what he thinks you want to hear. Its very laid back , bein its mostly just good ol country folk. PS The preacher used to be a coonhunter himself lol

Ralph is in good spirits considering having 10 broken ribs, 3 fractured vertebrae, badly sprained ankle, bruised lung, dislocated finger and a concussion. They removed his neck brace last night and let him have something to drink I think that really helped his mood please continue to pray for him and his family.

IF THE WORLD WOULD FOCUS ON THIS ONE THING AND PUT IT INTO ACTION EACH AND EVERY DAY, EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US......... COULD YOU IMAGINE WHAT A GREAT PLACE THIS EARTH WOULD BE FOR THE COMMON MAN? NO LYING, NO CHEATING, NO STEALING, NO HATING, NO KILLING, NO COVETING, NO DISHONORING, AND SO ON. IT WOULD BE A LOT CLOSER TO WHAT JESUS CHRIST INTENDED FOR IT TO BE, FOR YOU AND ME AS WELL AS OUR NEIGHBOR. I GUESS THE LACK OF CARRYING OUT THE LORD'S INSTRUCTION IS WHERE SATAN HAS STEPPED IN IN AN ATTEMPT TO DERAIL OUR FAITH AND LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

What is faith?
In the book of Hebrews Ch. 11 v 1 says. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The Webster’s dictionary says faith is belief or confidence.

Imagine you are driving down the road at 45 mph, you see a car ahead that you think is going to pull out in front of you, a thought runs through your mind, if he pulls out I am ready my brakes are in great condition I just had them all replaced. That is faith, you have confidence that they will stop you in time. the car pulls out in front of you but you don't act upon your faith and never hit the brakes, what happens?

Readers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for you is, that you might be saved.
Romans Ch.10 Vs. 8-13
[8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
