Hey gang. Corky so sorry to hear about your mom. I no how your feeling been at the hospital with Kathy since Monday morning. She has double
pneumonia in her upper lobs. Dr just left and going to let her go home today. So between being here at home and taking care
Of her dad I've been pretty busy. So now it's a waiting game to get out of here. Plus our daughter has a Dr appointment at 4:30.

John that's the kind of storms I hate. I live at the base of the mountain and when it rains that hard it comes in my back door. Lol

Now to the real news. WB that's one good looking pup you got there. Now just remember hunting a blue is nothing like hunting a red dog. Just turn that little rascal a loose and set back and watch and learn. It won't be long before he's training all them hounds for ya. Good luck with him Buddy. And I love the name.

Well gang it's hard to concentrate with her snoring in my ear. Lol

Possum breeding I looked last night at both her moms and her dads 7 generation pedigree and its greek to me the only thing I can tell you is a lot uctcman a good amount of hammer a little bit of jet and smokie river I have hunted a lot with both her dad and her mom there is a picture of her dad on this post both are coondogs but I like her dad better I am not intending to keep her just start her and sell her sometimes I like to be challenged in dog training hunting a blue dog should be a challenge

I spent all day cutting wood. Lots of trees down around here. I think I got about half the wood I need for winter this morning.

Thanks for the prayers. I got her home around 3:00 this evening. And she's doing fine coughing a good bit and hurting, but just happy to be home and in her bed.

Me and my boy took the hounds for a little ride tonight up to some land I hunt just to see if anything was out at the pond, nothing but a few deer. When we where getting ready to pull in the drive way here at home there stood about a 300 pound black bear. He/she was not 75 yards away from my kennel's. This is the second time this week ive seen it, but the first time in the yard. My boy wouldn't get out of the truck untill i have put the hounds up and I was ready to go in. lol. Just wanted to share that story with you'll.

Wb looks and sounds like your going to have a gud one there. already paying no attention to trash.

John good luck on the cleaning up. At least this fall youll have more time for hunting.

If you looking for something to do this weekend there is a tractor pull put on by the Bedford county fire departments. It is on Route 460 just east of bedford across from Owens market. All money goes to help the fire department and rescue squads. They have antique tractors during the day and then the modified tractors and trucks at night. Really is a good time. I will be there working it so come on by.
