Hiya ALL!

NO eggnog(yuckie!) but WAY too much family! lol... I overdosed on visiting...and can't believe I have to WORK with mum tomorrow! HELP! I took yesterday to spend with Bob and didn't come on the computer...We are exhausted and happy!
PRAYERS to all in need! I've got a couple firends here and there with some health issues and one friend who lost her dad after a battle with alzheimers who would benefit from a couple extra prayers too. WB, more prayers to keep your sis on the fast track to full health!
SO, our Christmas was wonderful! Christmas eve at mums was really nice and the baby, Hannah, was the star of course! Meal went well and the visit was nice. Christmas morn we went of to R and Es and sadly the baby had a fever and slept on and off most of the day...but was a cutie pie in between. It was very nice other than Hannah feeling yucky and having to sleep in the other room with Elizabeth...but the boys played a card game for hours and Bob and I napped on the floor near them...lol... NICE time!
Nice pix and nice to hear it seems like all is well with all and we ALL ate WAY TOO MUCH FOOD! DIets after New Years!
OK... gonna catch up on here, see ya'll later!
HappyHunting! Heather

Tonight, I took my female pup from Haze/Faith that just turned 8 months old for her first hunt by herself. We hunted for about an hour and a half before she struck a coon. It seemed like a decent track......she ran it for about 160 yards down a creek. She threw several nice locates and then rolled it over to a triple chop first....then after a few of those she settled in to a steady chop. I was on the way down the ridge to where she was and with my amber light on, the coon looked at me when I was about 50 yards away. This was her first trip to the woods alone and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Here are some pictures. Now I am getting ready to load up her brother and see what happens for him.

Hi gang. Just thought I would check in before it got dark. Me, Buzz, Layla, a local teenager, my buddy Bob and his dog Nickel have a date tonight.

Shannon - a pretty nurse.... or for that matter a pretty woman no matter what her occupation is will fix anything. LOL!

Corky - it does feel like a heat wave here. It is supposed to get cold again starting tomorrow. After tomorrow it is supposed to be high in the teens for a while. Burr!!!

Have a great evening everyone.

After nearly 50 years of faithful service to the Church Quasimodo dies. The Clergy from Notre Dame need to get a replacement to make the bells sing again so they put up a flyer in the towns square. Days go by and no one has come to answer the ad. Then after nearly a week a young man comes to apply. The Priests look at him and ask if he knows what the job entails and he says yes that his job is to make the bells in the tower sing. They said you are right but you don't have any arms so how are you going to do this most honorable task? So the guy says he would love to demonstrate his ability. The Priests hesitantly agree and tell him to begin. He takes off running and with a giant leap he is in the maze of the giant wood tower. He begins to jump from beam to beam with great skill as he works his way to the top where the bells are. The Priests are in awe of his skills but are still not sure how he will make the bells sing. He is just about to the top of the tower then with a burst of speed he leaps and runs his face into the massive bells and they once again sing. The Priests have never heard them sound so beautiful and hire him immediately. Many years pass by and all is going well. Then one rainy day as he is climbing to the bells he slips on a beam and falls onto the street 3 stories down and dies. The towns people gather around and begin to ask if anyone knows his name and know seems to know who he is. Then a Priest comes running out of the church and they ask if he knows his name and the Priest says...... wait for it.

I don't know his name but his face rings a bell.

Four Catholic men and a Catholic woman were having coffee.

The first Catholic man tells his friends, "My son is a priest, when he walks into a room, everyone calls him 'Father'."
The second Catholic man chirps, "My son is a Bishop. When he walks into a room people call him 'Your Grace'."
The third Catholic gent says, "My son is a Cardinal. When he enters a room everyone says 'Your Eminence'."
The fourth Catholic man then says, "My son is the Pope. When he walks into a room people call him 'Your Holiness'."
Since the lone Catholic woman was sipping her coffee in silence, the four men give her a subtle, "Well....?"
She proudly replies, "I have a daughter, slim, tall, 38D breasts, 24" waist and 34" hips. When she walks into a room, people say, "Oh My God."

A businessman is getting on a flight when he hears from another passenger that the Pope is going to be on the flight. "WOW, great!", he thinks, being a devout Catholic, "What a great place to be today."

Just before the aircraft doors are closed, the Pope enters the plane, and to the guy's delight, sits next to him. “I am surely blessed”, the man thinks. Here I am, a good Catholic on a flight, with the Pope sitting next to me.

The plane takes off and after a few minutes the passengers take off their seat belts. The man looks sideways and sees the Pope reaching into his bag to take out a crossword book.

“Marvelous”, he thinks, “not only am I blessed with the Pope next to me but he does crosswords and so do I”.

He notices that the Pope is working his way through the puzzle, and that His Holiness is tapping his pencil, thinking.

After a little while of pencil taping, the Pope turns to him and says, "I usually don't talk to anyone on flights, but I wonder if you can help me?"

"Anything Your Holiness.. What is it?"

"Do you know a four letter word that ends in 'u-n-t' that means something associated with women?"

The man feels very uncomfortable. He thinks and thinks.

Finally he says, "The only word I can think of is aunt."

The Pope looks at him and asks,

(wait for it!)

"Do you have an eraser?"

Afternoon all,
Well back to work really stinks but have to pay the bills. Enjoyed a great week off worked wiht the dogs and the pup alot. She is starting to listen better. Took her out last weekend and she was just like Forrest Gump. I picked her up beside the hard top a mile away from where we dropped. I do not think I will have to worry about her going out.

Shannon,
I do not think I will make it this year. I am saving my travel time for English days and I am hoping and praying to have a couple qualified for the world and I am going then. You shuold be able to take Molly right in. Instead of parking up front just go around back where the show people park.

Pastor Mike
Nice looking pup.

Seems like every one enjoyed themselves.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Prayers for all in need.

Good evening gang. Todays high was 18. It is going to get colder. Friday's high is supposed to be 10 with a low of 1.

Corky - we had a good hunt Friday, we had some split trees and killed 5 coon. Saturday was a different story. Buzz and Layla did a good job on the first drop. They made it look easy. The second drop they looked like total morons. I seen 5 coon sitting up and they never got treed. I finally got sick of it and went in and caught em. Oh well, that isn't the first time that happened and I am sure it wont be the last.

Mike - sounds like the pup has a lot of desire. Good luck with her.

James - good ones.

Shannon - prayers for quick healing for Christian. Looking forward to meeting you and the kids.

Have a great evening everyone.

HOwdy all!

PRAYERS to ALL in need and EXTRAS for Christian and his wrist (and his MOM!)

I worked pretty hard at mums and we had some grumpy moments as she tried to tell me HOW to deal with my sister the hoarder...when she is NOT supposed to interfere... and I finally told her so. OOPS! I was tired to begin with. It got better and we did fine Sunday. Got home and felt a bit "stuffed up" woke up with full blown head cold! MISERABLE day and I'm useless. So much for helping my sister. Bob may go help and or my other sister's ex boyfriend will help.... She will be evicted if she doesn't meet health codes.... Yippee... I can't believe I got sick! Then again..I was VERY stressed! I love my sister very much and it is hard to work with and for Mummy AND try to help Cass. Mum is not good with her...and offers to help but then it sort of backfires... So I basically got stern with Mummy, and I hate that I had to. Actually both my mum and Cassandra could use prayers to get thru this stressful time. And My cold is nothing I can't handle. Fingers crossed it doesn't go to chest but so far I'm not having a fever so no sinus infection! YAY!
It's COLD here and I hear we may have a good snow later on this week! Yippee...and BELOW zero temps too! Blechhhhh! lol...
Pastor Mike, nice pix!
Hello to everyone else! Hope you all have a good night! HappyHunting ETC! Heather
