Well I would like thank Lance for listening to what I like in a hound and sending me in Mr. Tims direction. Now on to the story. I know its hard to believe all the hype you hear or read pertaining to these hounds or pups, but what I'm fixing to say is straight facts with no B.S..My Turk pup is fixing to turn a yr old next month, and up to last week has never had a coon in his mouth, no drags , or a whole lot of anything but just going to the woods.. Well I turned a coon out for him last week(with old dog) and knocked it out to him, first coon shook it like a pit bull, I drug the coon through woods and hung it back up, and let him tree it again. Havent been back to the woods till tonite, so I turned him loose by himself and he went on hunting (not burning the woods up)and struck his own track, worked it out, located, and stuck a single in the timber all alone. Guys these Turk pups are for real and that is NO b.s....I know this dont make him a coon dog yet, but watch out.Not a whole lot of effort put in to training pups like that, Thanks Tim and Paul for your labors in the breeding pen best pup I've ever had on a leash... Oh and that Joker female may be getting ready to come on too, so when she turns the corner I'll post what she does.. Cheyenne

Glo was bred to John II a couple years ago, you will be seeing some of those pups in the hunts this spring. If Hutch gets on here he can tell you a little more about how many pups are still alive. I know mine got killed and Paul lost his out hunting. Her next litter will be by Dual Grand Frog Creek Tonto, Owned by Lance and Dana Byrd in Alabama. ................Tim

pups

Cheyenne,
Jeff Grant has a male that is a littermate to yours that he told me the same story almost word for word. Jeff started hunting his just about a month ago and he is doing great, picking trees, split treeing and going hunting, I hunted with him one night and seen him pick a tree quite a bit ahead of the old dogs. Good mouth and a hard tree dog. He is definately a keeper, like yours.........Tim

911 had 7 pups 2 are dead 2 i don't know what was ever done with them never got paid for them and never heard any thing about them.I keep 2 a male and a female the male was a natural second time to the woods he split treed i hunted him 7 times before i sold him he split treed 2 times with the meat and he had looks also bmob at bluetick days at 1 year old. The female i still have likes to get treed don't say a lot on the ground, don't get very deep by her self but she will get treed and hold all kinds of pressure and can swimm like a fish, and i have 1 best of show on her put her i 1 show and the last 1 LANCE has and she is like the rest of them that i know of looking to get treed good strike and nice mouth.
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE MALE THAT I HAD BUT I CAN'T FIND HIM HE IS SOMEWHERE IN MISSOURI JUST CAN'T FIND HIM-------HUTCH

Females

Tim, I got my papers back on my Blueberry x Sid pup and my Lady x Turk pup. I am shocked at how many hunt titled pups some of the mad dog females produced. They never reached the 25 pups required to be on the historical reproducers list but the percentages of pups that made titled hounds blow away most of the historical and current females in the coonhound bloodlines. That is just fact and I don't know what else to say. I didn't realize Lady was all mad dog. Lance

Female

Both females that Paul bought are out of John II and different dams. Both females are really nice with good bawl mouths on track and hard chop mouth tree dogs and will be a great addition to the kennel. They will be in the hunts this spring..........Tim

Ya just had to go and grab my attention with the (Spanky x Inga) female didn't ya? LOL

She will always be one of my favorites. Gorgeous soft velvetty black head and blanket back. 145 bpm on tree when she was young. Tons of drive, with a happy go lucky personality. They don't get any funner to hunt than she was.

Cross

Kevin,
The Spanky x Inga cross was a great one and I am happy that we were able to get some of that blood back. Mike Moppin had the Ghost dog (Spanky x Inga) down at the Lake and has used him in his breeding program. Ghost was a coon dog that was not hunted in the hunts, he was hunted hard during season and earned his keep for many years..........Tim

Thats good to hear about Jeffs male pup, maybe they all will turn out...I havent been able to get mine back in the woods since he made the tree and it probably will be a few more days before I get back at it. I really shouldnt be sitting here today, the good Lord spared my life this week. I had a deer jump in front of me on the way to work Wednesday morning on my motorcycle. I hit her at a pretty good rate of speed and me and the motorcycle stopped in a ditch between the woods and the aspalt about a 150 ft or better from the point of impact.. I limped out of the ditch muddy and wet but only had a little scratch on my left shin and a spot on my right calf no broken bones and a badly torn up motorcycle....I made it to work the next day...Once again .. Thank you Lord

Your wife being an emt knows as well as I how lucky and blessed you are. I'm just glad the ditch was muddy which made it soft. Thanks for the thank you about refering you to Tim. I'm glad it worked out. I told Jason Myers the same thing tonight and gave him Tim's number. Maybe he will call Tim tomorrow.

Tim look out for the call. Jason is a dedicated competition hunter and hunts allot. Lance

Turk Male

ChNiteCh Mad Dog Mo. Blue Smoke got his 4th Nt Ch win last night at a Black and Tan sectional. I think Timmy told me he had 550 plus. Got two by himself and part of another.
Now the hunt is on for that elusive last win.
Timmy is planning on going to Girard Ks. next weekend. Were crossing our fingers and putin Smoke in the woods hard all week.
