If you like hounds that can get through the country and get treed,,,,,,,,,,,,, you will be hard to find a nicer pedigree than that.

Thanks Dave,I`ve been very blessed with good hounds and good friends, the foundation was laid way before me just doing a little fine tuning and twinking here and there and keeping it tight.nothing like being able to go to the well for a little dose of the good stuff.never know until its a done deal.

Billy,I said the same thing when I picked him.he is fearless and he picks on grandsire Tree Daddy nonstop.both are fast asleep beside each other.

Bryan,Sorry to hear about Duane`s wife passing.ol Stinger been buried for two years now.I still have Powder and Sugar, Kid and Bo off of Stinger here and yes the female you had was a littermate to Legend and king.they are the only two left and king had been hit by a semi but the ol tough sucker was lucky just knocked him out.nothing like being lucky.were hoping Ted gets a few females bred to him this year.good Luck too you and take care and Tell Duane that Powder and Kid has couple young 14 month olds that are really nice.half bro sister on stinger.Sage and Diam. Jim up close.should be hearing a little about one called Kit and the other is Kat.

Hey Matt,

Was glad to have you and Brian Dunkle, Austin and the gang down for the weekend hope it wasnt to cold in the cabins. I was proud of penny she was still nursing pups was pulled down and hadnt been hunted since november. She was second fri night with no minus and had it all won sat night . I hadnt slept in three days and watched her tree a coon right in front of us and forgot to tree her! I could of treed her last and still won. Haunt me for awhile!
Kit is looking tough as are all the hounds that came from your kennel.

John Thanks for the cabin I slept good and it was warm.getting in after 5 am and gone again at 10:30 didn`t get much sleep either.

Penny looked great getting off to her self on two coon and her and Kid did a great job on one slam dunk style.Penny made three trees and all had the meat.now that was nice.Good Luck to you and I see no reason why you couldn`t grand her out soon.

I `ll keep you posted I heard the female in ala. or miss . is reproducing good. I talked to john and he said he hunted kit lastnight by herself again and she is tough and likes her real well. she has all the tools and a big female and big mouth on her.her littermate only male in the litter was on here forsale last week. lightly hunted but would run and tree did better by himself it sounds. he s in tenn. Powder is quite the coontreeing little hound.I`m glad i never sold her.sorry to here about Boomer.take care.

Hello Matt. I just wanted to update you on the pups out of Pilot and Blue (Son of Rocky)
We are gearing up for Bear season, and have worked the pups on some ferals and some bear drags.

The male, owned by a friend is doing very good. He trails and trees like an older dog. Has a very good cold nose.
My one female is not far behind him and is as hard a wooling dog as I have ever seen at that age. She is one serious dog on fur.
The other female I have just started wooling on a bear hide, so we played with her for just a few minutes. Little more laid back.
The other two have not had much done with them, but I am very pleased with them.
I have Skipper here now as well, after trading Pilot for her. She has a love for bear hunting, and Pilot is a better Lion hound.

I appreciate the hard work you have done on your line of dogs.

Congrats Joe and Shane! Good to hear she is looking good. that should be a great cross and I sure wouldn`t be afraid of one of those.I would love to get her daddy in the hunts I heard he is the right kind.quick on both ends and has the meat.my kind of hound.

I sure appreacaite you working them and the good words.The Lou female we had here sure enough a good reproducer and I know the mix with Dennis`s hounds sure seems to put the icing on the cake to say.good to hear they seem to have good nose s on them.one thing about this line they seem to be straight on what you start them on.so no wonder skipper likes bear better than lions and same for pilot she was started on lions. makes a lot of sence.pilots sister is in the bbcha blue book, under John Gills add on page 160 and her name is Abbey.Ken Hitchcock in Michigan own one of the males and and I have the other female here. Great track speed forsure.

I`ve been trying to work some of Kids fat off him.really hasn`t slowed him down to much.I`m just used to seeing two ribs showing.
I do have some news I took one of my females up to Nevergone and had her A.Ied to GRNITECHCH`PR`BAKERS PISTOL PETE. frozen semen.I have four booked so far I`m sure they won`t last long and Tom Jennings is working on S.S. the litter.I own Pete`s frozen semen and felt this would be a good time to reintroduce Pete.He sure was a good looking hound with a great personality and I feel he will work good on Sunni.Happy Hunting!
