Duane Swofford was up for a hunt. We made 7 trees with coon. If you want to see the type of hound that it takes to win the world hunt go hunting with Boomer. If you have a top female and have a desire breed her, you need to check this hound out. I've seen Boomer look bad, he's just a dog. Boomer leaves as fast as any I've seen, opens the instant coon scent enters his nose, runs a track with his head up but will work on a bad track. Gets his and his share of most everything. It's just a pleasure for me to see him tree coon. Looks, big mouth, smarts, the list goes on. Faults, the only two I've seen is he can't kill a 5 pound kitten. Should even run one as scared as he is of getting bit. The second is, when he can't make a track go, he picks his head up and gets country in a hurry. I mean in two or three minutes 800 to 1000 yds. I haven't hunted my Boomer pups. Steve has one he calls Moe. Moe was 5 months old last week. Moe will go as deep as his company, cross whatever water he needs to. Steve sent a text that he started treeing with Penny tonight. Take hold of a coon to hurt it. Boomer does have a couple litters a few months older than mine. I don't know how there doing.
