Sorry we couldn't connect. Earlier, I inquired about the possibility of pups. I will stay in touch. I see you have bred Crystal. I have a grnnt out of Piazon (Orion) and was thinking of what would cross well with him. We have never met, but I hear you are a fine gentleman. Let me know if Crystal has pups. Sorry to say Crystal passed away a couple of months ago. Brian came home one day and she was laying in the kennel dead. No obvious reason for her passing. I was looking forward to getting pups off of her and Doc but it's not to be. She would have been four years old in October. Crystal has a liter mate sister some where in Missouri but I havn't been able to locate her. If anyone knows where she might be please let me know. I would like to find her. Thanks. Ron

I sold Crystal's liter mate sister to Harry Tipton in Missouri when she was around six months old. I have tried on several occasions to contact him with no luck. I have the phone number but always get the answering machine. I have found out through UKC that she is still registered in his name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ron

If you don't get ahold of crystals sister I'm going to breed her litter mate brother hank to my tiny female I should have some pup's in the spring around may she's in heat now but I don't want to breed her back to back she just had pup's out of jet 10 that have been treeing their own since 4 and a half months old

I do hope you get her back and get some pup's off her and doc though ron

Actually ed mead bought them all he still has them .
I talked to him a couple weeks ago he says they aren't leaving his place lol all running and treeing good on their own at 5 months old

Grand nite Champion Timm's blue Shotzie has a new home on Texas Ridge. After hunting with Shotzie and some serious negotiation with Jeff I was able to make a deal with him. Couldn't be happier.

Shotzie is a liter mate to Jet 10 and one of the best blue females that I have hunted with. She hunts hard, opens quick, moves a track fast, gets treed and has the coon. Before hunting with her, Jeff described her as one of, if not the best hounds he had owned and hunted. And as we all know Jeff has owned and campaigned several really nice hounds.

Hopefully sometime in the next few weeks Shotzie will be bred to Doc. She has been bred once before to Jeff's Will 2 dog and had 11 pups raising 10 of them. Four pups off Doc and Shotzie are spoken for. All other pups will be for sale. They will only go to individuals who are serious competition hunters and are serious about the advancement of the bluetick breed. As time permits I plan on having Shotzie at some of the bigger hunts to give her chance to show what she can do. If interested give me a call. Thanks RT 812-322-0263

Marlin Smith from Casey ,Illinois bred to Doc on Saturday. Really good looking well bred female. Jet bred and Kirby's blue Spike on top side. B&D's blue Spike and Treeslammin blue Hillbilly on bottom side.

Tom Mappes from Nashville, Indiana bred his female to Doc on Wednesday Oct. 26. Should be some nice pups. The first liter out of Tom's female and Doc seem to be doing well at 8 months old.

I don't have any pups right now. There are 3 females bred to Doc right now which will be having pups shortly. I will be breeding my Grand nite Shotzi female when she comes in which should be anytime now. That's the best I can do right now. All these pups will the right age next fall. Doc has not been bred very much for a dog his age. He only has 23 pups on the ground as of now. I have a nice young male out of Doc that I plan on putting in some hunts this spring. There will be more to follow.

If anyone is interested in Doc I plan on having him at the following hunts in 2017.

Grand American: January in Orangeburg, South Carolina
Winter Classic: February in Batesville, Mississippi
Bluetick Reunion: April in Portland, Indiana
National Bluetick Days: May in Bellvue, Michigan
