Scott- I'm proud of our Banjo pup.... I got her as a pup. All I've done is give her a ride to the woods.

Make it rain is getting me a little fired up..

2 for 2 so far- Last night I put her in a PKC hunt and drew out with 3 veteran walker dogs, ranging from 4-8 years old... Winner winner; She didn't win by backing either. She treed the coon and the walkers backed her.. late- Haha.. a couple times in an hour hunt. Good for $72.



Put her in a AKC hunt last Sat night, as there were no UKC or PKC hunts around and she pulled out the win... By making first strikes and first trees.. Held pressure good for a baby. The other dogs in my cast put a opossum in a hole and that was the only time she came out to me, she wanted no part of it ( which is really neat, because she has never been corrected for a possum- shes never trashed, except for a brief encounter with an armadillo at around 8 mths old- I bumped her and no issues since).

I was impressed with her skills. A 2015 model pup, winning 2 out of 2 so far.....

I'm glad to see a lot of your pups are getting out there and doing good and pleasing their owners. I was sure proud of mine. The pups out of Tramp and Gin are doing good. They are beginning to go to their new homes. I see you got Nails bred, can you tell if she caught yet, should be some good ones. I try to get Tramp in the woods as much as possible, but when you have a couple of young dogs that you are trying to get ready for the hunts, its hard to find time for the older dogs. I say older dogs, Tramp is only 3 years old. Looks like you are doing good with your breeding program. You are making a lot of people happy. If I can ever help you n any way just let me know. Also, congratulations to Chase and Scout (Banjo x Hammerhead) with your best of show on Friday at Bluetick days!

Wished I could have made it but not this year. I also want to Thank Jack, Jeremy, Robbie and Chad for all of your help this weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

Darren Batterson had a nice win on Thursday night congratulations to Darren and Mabel. The Iowa crews had a good showing overall with cast wins down in Mississippi.

Spoke with Bob Mouzy on Saturday and he said that one of the females bred to Banjo is getting pretty big. Nail was bred a little later and she has started to show but also got snake bit the other night so he is going to haul her into the vet.

Scott do you think her losing the pups was due to the Snake bite. I have heard of pregnant females losing their pups from getting snake bit. Either way I'm sure sorry for this. I know you were wanting to get some pups out of her. How is Hammerhead and Creek doing.
