Bobby, I believe you'l be seeing more Bo pups in the winners circle more. I don't know if Robert has any icy pups left but they would be some good prospects. Whitegrass Sally is bred to Bo and will have pups at the end of January if she's stuck.

'BIG COUNTRY' AKA BIMBO

THANKS MR. BANKSTON. I ALSO ENJOY WATCHING VIDEOS OF YOUR MALE BO. LOOKS AND SOUNDS TO BE A FINE HOUND. BEST OF LUCK WITH HIM IN 2015.

THANKS FOR THE HELP MR. MCDONALD ON THE PEDIGREE. I THOUGHT I WAS CLOSE BUT WASN'T 100% SURE ON A COUPLE OF THEM. ALL I KNEW WAS RAMBO WAS SMEARED ALL OVER OXY'S PEDIGREE WITH WHITEY IN THERE. THANKS FOR CLEANING THAT UP. YOU MAY KNOW A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE BY THE NAME OF KEN CONE THAT OWNED WHITEY FOR A WHILE. DID YOU GET TO HUNT WITH WHITEY ANY WHEN HE WAS DOWN SOUTH? THIS YOUNG DOG HAS NOT BEEN PUT AN ANY HUNTS BUT MORE THAN LIKELY WILL BE THIS YEAR. I'M ALSO DRAWING A BLANK ON THE QUAIL CREEK JET DOG FOR SOME REASON. WAS HE THROUGH ED'S JET DOGS OR SOMETHING ELSE?

I do know Ken. Top shelf guy. Tell him I said hello.

I did hunt with Whitey several times. Had the opportunity to keep him here and hunt him in the hunts. He went so dang hard that I was scared I would get him run over. I really liked ol Whitey. Wish there was some semen saved on him. He was a nice hound. I have one here now out of the Big Time Albert dog that goes back to Whitey that has a ton of heart and drive just like Whitey did. Good luck with your young dog. With the way he is bred, he sure should reproduce too.

GrNiteCh Quail Creek Jet was co-owned by Rick Meyer and Ed Mead. Rick bought the Nite Ch. Comb's big time dot female and bred her to Jet V. She was pretty old but he got 2 litters ... about 6 pups total. In a nut shell this cross had nose power and the brains to use it.

GrNiteCh Quail Creek Jet got his 1st place on the snow in MI at about 7 months of age. Treed 2 coons that the other dogs never opened on or even knew were there. Long story short he made Gr Nite in 13 hunts I think by the age of 14 months and 6 days. Youngest Gr Nite of any breed at that time. I know Rick said he had a lot of bad luck in those 13 casts and he should have finished even sooner. All in all 4900+ and 150- made him a Gr Nite.

Ed had a 12 week old pup from this cross that winded and treed 3 lay up coon from the middle of a 200 acre corn field that was 6 inches tall in the spring. I had a female from this cross that was by far the best track dog I ever owned...hot or cold tracks. She could flat burn a hot track. Had a lot of walker guys just shake their head when this slow houndy looking bluetick would lead their dogs to the tree on a hot track. Most nights though she was like the Quail Creek Jet dog... running and treeing coon other dogs never opened on track or tree.

If my memory serves me right the Blue Bio blue Jet(warrior creek CW) hound was out of Quail Creek Jet. CW has the Jet 6 again thread on this forum.

Well I am getting long winded, but I figured I would chime in on this. I would love to have another female like her or Quail Creek Jet. Nothing says more for a dog in my opinion than being 9 months old and being able to be casted with 3 veteran gr. nites and treeing 3 or 4 coon that the other dogs never even opened on.

That big Country dog sounds good on the wood!

Good luck to everyone if you comp hunt this weekend. Is anyone taking their bo pup (or Bocephus himself?) to the Winter classic? If so- REMINDER, tomorrow is last day to register.

PLUG FOR BOCEPHUS:
NT CH ZERO ( Bocephus x Layup Lucy) is currently #10 in $kc Bluetick national standings and # 8 overall in FL ( #1 blue in Fl- HAHA).. I'm hitting a $kc hunt tonight as there are no UKC hunts anywhere around...

Maybe bo's pup, ZERO, will get lucky and finish in top 16.... I'm a terrible handler, but he often helps me by not making too many mistakes....( except the other night- he treed the only coon in the cast and got us scratched by going back to the tree twice- he never does that)...

HAHA oh well..
