Picture I took yesterday during the race and what a race it was. Glad for the wife that Harvick won and for the sport that one of the fastest drivers all year got it done. We got up at 5am yesterday morning, raced all day and left track before 9pm headed home. I drove all through the night and got home at 1:30pm today. Was good to hear the ole BlueTicks welcoming me home. Will get some Harvick pictures up on here tomorrow. Thanks guys for compliments on pictures and hopefully enjoying this thread this year.

The photographer from Miami Hearld newspaper took this picture and its on their site and was supposed to be in the newspaper. My wife and Mason, he calls her ME ME.

Get ready guys and gals, a new Nascar season is upon us!! This is a picture of the January issue of Nascar Illustrated and Mason and I made it in the magazine from our Miami trip to the Championship race in November. We were the only fan picture they put in the coverage for that race and I'm a proud Paw Paw that one day, maybe 30 years from now, Mason can pull out his copy of the magazine and know that he was there. They are practicing today for tomorrow nights race and speeds are hitting 200mph so the reduction in horsepower didn't affect the speeds. Glad to see that. Looking forward to a great season and Jimmie winning his 7th championship! Buckle up and ride along with us this year!

YEP, ole Jimmie is out but it give JR a big break. Look for him to bring it the last 5 laps. Another big wreck, fantastic racing until this 2nd big wreck. Biffle caused the 1st big one but if you ask him its ALWAYS someone else's fault. The more competitive they make these cars, the tighter they will stay bunched up in a lot of races, the more wrecks they will have. Not many races going to be boring this year. I don't like the wrecks but I love the nose to tail, door to door racing. BIFFLE just got his, glad to see it.

Skeets, yes they all pick on those two but Joey didn't do anything wrong. Harvick didn't have the speed with his banged up car and Joey was doing all he could to push him out front. Next week is going to be fun to watch!

Something I always think is funnyand Darrell waltrip pointed it out is harvick always leaves his helmet on when confronting someone , what a sissy !I swear he's a good driver and we'll deserving of his championship last year but what a crybaby !!!!

Scary Creek your right, Harvick ACTS like a B. A. but when it gets time he always has the helmet on or pushes from behind. Qualifying is starting now on FOX for the DAYTONA 500 one week from today. I usually boil a sack of crawfish for the big race but just called on them and with Mardi Gras finishing up this week and cold front on the way they are going to be scarce and if you can get them they are going to be 3.99 a Lb. Looks like Bar BQ is on the menu!

Yes, the way they had to qualify does stink. Most of the men doing the announcing could take a hike to in my opinion. There is no passion in them for the race, they are to politically correct in how they bring it to you, scared to death they will say something wrong and get fired or fined for saying something detrimental to the sport of racing. ALL the DRIVERS HATE the new qualifying format and owners to because when they wreck its costing a fortune.
I can't believe the owners don't get together and refuse to race until some things are done different.
