Swingin Heavy Sledge!!!! After thinking something was going on with this hound cause he just wasn't quite his self. We took him to the vet to find out he had the tick disease!!! All meds have been ran threw him and he is back on his game!!

Thanks for the good words Steeb! Yeah Bailey told me about that I believe! Said it was a good hunt tho!! Yeah there's alot of dogs out there that deserve to have a chance on sireing some pups for sure but the main thing to is to get them good females backed up to them!! Thanks

Max you hit the nail on the head! I know some are satisfied with a bitch just having a good set of papers but I still have to know the bitch is a coon dog! Titles / pedigrees are a plus but doing it in style to me is the key. Example, Riptide is what many call a common hound but I still will not breed him to anything I would not hunt a pup out of. Not looking for numbers, just a old common Blue dog that will tree coons, Straight - no junk, not ill, pretty darn accurate, one that will handle and get Lucky and win once in a while, will run and tree its own coon by nine months old, if not / well you know! That is one thing no one can say is that I kept a pup past nine months old that would not do it by itself and they never will see me do that if the pup has been hunted right. It does not cost any more to feed a good one!

Not too bad here right now, wind is picking up and light flurries / mist but overall not to bad for overall temp.. Have you and the old man been hitting it any? Hanna will be out of heat about Wed. and we will be hitting it once again. Came in heat at the right time to get a break, I for one needed it!

Just got off the phone with Dean in Kentucky!! Very good guy it was nice talking to him. Dean has a female off of Sledge she has finished to Dual Grand!!! That's 2 off of Sledges first litter that has made Dual Grand out of 4 pups that were registered. Dual Grand Super Blue Riptide and Dual Grand Cave Run Clarebelle. He only has 2 litters on the ground. The second litter is only 7 or 8 months old. Been hearing some good on them as well.
