Well we took Riptide to his first $50.00 PKC hunt and we left hungry! Ended up with 150 plus and a couple hundred circle and no minus. Only ran two tracks in two hours. The Dog that won the hunt was a nice Redbone owned by Mr. Walker. Also had two Holsteins, one had minus and the other scratches for not handling within the hour after was called. I feel he did what he could on two coons and feel pretty good with what all took place. There will be another night!

Yea a little luck! Had a nice turn out as they hunted I think 36 dogs. They said on Friday night they hunted right around the same and it only took 50 plus to get in. Not many coons seen as top score was 500 and they dropped to something like 175 plus and 4 th place was 50 plus. Corey and the red dog handler treed right at the same time but the vote went for the red dog or results would have been different. We will be back, going to go to a few bigger ones this year and see what happens. We can always keep old tide around to hunt the pups with! LOL!

Took Riptide and Miss Pain tonight and hit some good running tracks. First dump we struck and ran about 350 years and treed and did it right. The next two dumps where with Pain by herself, ran one and treed and had it and her second dump she hit and ran it through a bottom and then hit a field that had Turkey crap spread all over it and that was the end of that track, could not pick it back up, hard to believe huh! Pain turned 9 months the 17th. of this month, good level headed pup that is learning!

Yea it took some training but he does O.K., nothing to write home to mom about! The pictures will have another Blue hound in them in the very near future. Going to Kansas to pick one up mid April from Roy Clifton, It doesn't take Blue hounds years to get going! The poor little Holstein will then get a Bluetick Sandwich!

Took Riptide and Pain tonight for two dumps. Ran two tacks and treed one coon and one den with the two of them. We then dropped Pain by herself twice and she treed one and the video is below. She ran one more track in a big slew, didn't get it treed but was not due to the lack of effort. For a 9 month old she will get in there and go hunting and get treed by herself and is not looking for another dog to do it for her. Still high hopes but she did catch one on the ground tonight but it had lost its hair on it tail, we did work on that! Starting to tie her up at the tree so she gets use to that, now we have to work on what come here means!

Hunted Riptide and Pain tonight out by the lakes since most of the bottom land is either flooded or a muddy mess. Made three dumps and tree one coon on the outside and drove one about 450 yards and treed in a den. Trying to get Pain ready for next Sat., hunting her in the Baby Stakes and try our luck. She has been hunting hard and looking pretty good for nine months old!

Yea just a little water, creeks that are normally 3 to 4 feet were 12 to 15 with all the flash off. Seen bridges under water I have never in my life seen under. Still plenty of state ground to hunt but hills are hard on the old mans knees! Pups knocking down the wood still makes you make the trip to seen them on the wood! Getting Indy back into shape?

I have been getting call after call on pups out of the Jet V and Wendy cross. Ive told every one that there is going to be alot of money laid on the table just to get this cross made and not one of these guys blinked an eye .
