This Thursday and Friday night might be decent nights. Suppose to be 40-50 degrees in the afternoons. I know I'll be out. This cold weather is giving me cabin fever!

Alan Rummle and I hunted Monday night and had alittle luck with his dog White Boy(BoomerXRuby) and my Angie(Jet 8X Cold Run Lucy) It was fun to get out in the snow with some good ol blue dog action. To be honest we were just shaken some cabin fever and didnt think we would do that well. Cold and crunchy out. 2 singles in about 2 hours.

Fine lookin blue dogs there Ron.Maybe that's what I need....I'm serious .We treed 5 coon over the weekend. All short tracks or layups.Last night wasn't so good.Treed a couple dens and a couple slicks.Coons had wore out trails from den to den. Hopefully the coons start moving soon.

Last couple days we have covered a lot of ground coyote hunting and have not seen any coon tracks, nothing but deer and coyote. Coyote must be eating good cause everyone we have killed is fat. Total so far is 8 in 2 1/2 days, if all the tracks didn't blow shut gonna get more today.

Matt, it was all dens for me last nigt as well. One drop without a bark. Dropped the young dog off at the house & took my 10 yr. old blue potlicker out for the first time this season. Got lucky & had one on the outside of a den. It was a yearling boar. & he was starting to swell pretty good. He wasn't full blown & stinking yet, but starting none the less. May have been an ole sow down in the den that didn't desire any company! LOL That darned wind combined with that snow was rough even for a fat boy like me! LOL

well tracks were a little harder to come by in the woods I was in than I thought they would be last night (12/20/13). Made a slick and had 2 singles and 1 den. Roxy acted a little bit funny, due to come in heat 2 weeks ago, is that an excuse? Ron
