We had a fire in our outbuilding yesterday, lost all of the hides we worked so hard for this fall, GPS's, lights, vests, ammo, and anything else we take to the woods. Some of my tools survived, fire department got boat out and tractor, other than smelling like smoke and a llittle damage to the outboard motor they look ok. The good news is none of the dogs were hurt and Chris and I are both safe. I was at work, she did a great job of calling the F.D. and making sure dogs were safe. Yes, she is a great woman!

Another den tree where coon was seen.









It was a great hunt that ended with 4 trees made, 5 coon seen, and 3 coon harvested. 3 big coon I might add. Thanks for the hunt Jay, it was one I'll never forget!!

Even though you had to figure out where the hell I was on the last tree. Dot did a bang up job on it and you were going to have to find us and shoot her coon out. No exceptions. Didn't know you had pictures of me, savor it. It don't happen often. A group picture would of been nice though.

I took Tramp out tonight since I figured the coon would be stirring. He took one track a long ways to a den tree, but that snow makes it awfully tough walking. I hosted some fellow Bluetickers this weekend from Illinois so i was satisfied enough to call it a night as my bed sounded pretty inviting.
