Candy was about 5 months old when Jason took her to the woods first time. He hung this coon up in a tree that Ruger treed up in Michigan. She locked down like she is bred to do.

Very pleased with Chief he has it all and its all been very natural to him!! Matt sure knows what he's doing with these pups! From what I've seen this was a GREAT cross all very coon crazy!!

Showed Chief his first cage coon at 3 1/2 months old and he went crazy on it never ever seen him shy away from one and has treed released coon from abt 4 1/2 to 5 months old the video Matt posted of him was him treed with the meat not released coon!!! I hope all these pups make great hounds and companions!!!

Thanks Matt for everything you have done to help me get Chief down here and all the great advice and knowledge of your breeding program!!!

You know he's doing good when my old dog is getting fat!!!! He is by far best pup I've ever seen and I've done NOTHING to coach anything out of him all I did was catch a couple coon and he's done the rest!!

I am much more than happy with him words can't explain he's great in the woods and at the house just wants to please!!!

By the way I had to go thru a briar thicket to get that pic after Mr. Showoff picked the coon up and toted him off!!!! Everytime lol

Go ahead and book me for another male on the next cross!!!!!!

Got this video last night from Elmo Overton last night. Said third time in the woods is a charm for his pup off Ruger and Cotton with his female Maggie.. Keep him n the woods I'm sure you will be pleased.. These pups seem to be all making some really nice young dogs for the ones that have been in the woods at all. Only two that aren't treeing haven't been to the woods yet. But they are going soon as deer season is over...

Glad you got to hear ole Dragon working a track. He ended up in some thicket cutover mess and he located but decided he didn't have him. A least he treed another coon earlier and I should have let him settle because he didn't tree has hard and chop like he did the night before. I just have to remember he is just 6 months old and being hunted alone. He needs a taste of fur. Once he figures out to get out there and look harder for Mr Ricky he whole world will open up to him.

Right now if he smell a coon he will tree it. He will have to learn how to look for one and with other dogs. He like cow pattys and corn stalks and loves hay. He is funny good natured pup but if he catches wind of a coon totally different pup. Time will tell! He sure sounds like Cotton on the tree and that locate he has I love. He will learn how to go hunting with other dogs and tree with them as soon as season starts Nov 15.
He has been easy to play with. Very smart pup.

I haven't been for a few days. Between being sick with strep and world series a man can find all kinds of excuses not to go. I know season starts Nov 15th so I know I will be hitting it pretty hard and see what Dragon has to offer.

I can't wait for season to start in the 15th then I can roll out a few to Dragon.
I went for a solo run with him but he didn't do much. He is young and full of energy.
