for those interested in the coon club here is the Feb news letter that will be mailed this weekend.
Hello All,
The Kansas State hunt and show will be held in Scranton KS. April 12th/13th 2013. On the 13th there will be a general membership meeting at 1:00pm at the Scranton Restaurant across the street from Casey’s. All can come at noon and order off the menu if you’re hungry. Also on the 13th there will be a treeing contest and mouth squalling contest as well. This should be something different but kind of reverting back to the 80’s so looking forward to that. I sure other things that took place in the 80’s come along with it.
Twin Rivers Coon hunters Assoc annual Banquet will be held February 23rd 2013 6:00pm (almost put Febuanny for anyone that is tired of them **** subway commercials) a half block south of Main St. on south 6th in Neodesha. Bring a covered dish or a dessert and a good time is had by all. Brenda Hare will be doing most all the cooking since she has decided she no longer needs to work and not a darn thing Rodney can do about it. Main dish will be polled Pork.
I am leaving the dates of all our events so if you did not get them wrote down the first time you have a second chance. The following dates will be the dates we will hold meetings and CLUB hunts. TAKE Notice a couple of these months are not on the first Saturday of the month because we have UKC hunts scheduled for the first of the month. 1-5-13, 2-9-13,3-2-13, 4-6-13, 5-25-13, 6-1-13, 7-6-13, 8-3-13, 9-7-13, 10-5-13, 11-16-13, 12-7-13. On the underlined months our meeting dates changes. Please mark this on your calendar!!!!!!! Times are 8 pm meetings for daylight savings time then fall back to 7pm during standard time.
UKC hunts for the 2013 year, 2/2/13, 3/16/13, 3/23/13 BBCHA Sectional, 4/20/13 World Qualifier, 5/10/13, 9/27&28/13 BBOA Kansas State Hunt/show, 12/27/13. If any of these dates look messed up they probably are. Come and let Ethan know at the coon club because he is going to keep this newsletter and record all Dates on the Dry Erase informational board at the Coon Club.
Well I got to tell you about our Trip to Tulsa Last weekend. Talia bought me Kid Rock tickets for Christmas and we attended last weekend (Yep I do Like Kid Rock) Well we had not been in the hotel for 10 minutes when she caught me eyeing the swimming pool that a D2 girls college basketball team were swimming in. She got mad and headed to the room with me following. As we got in there she wigged plumb out, she was clawing me, slapping and pulling my hair and then started to threaten to jump out the window. I quickly called the front desk to try and get help. I was informed by the hotel clerk this was a personal matter and the hotel does not involve their self in personal matters, I was very quick to report to him that he needed to send someone as quickly as possible because the $#@%$!# window would not open and that was a Maintenance issue so get your butt up here and fix it!! LOL ok not all that is true but we did attend a Kid Rock concert and it was an awesome time, I got to say and I do not say it near enough I have one of the best wives anyone could ask for but I am still young enough to also appreciate the wives of others as well so it’s all good. At the concert we ran into Brannon (Moose) and Britney Green which are offspring of Eddie Green (they hadn’t been drinking much). While talking about these two kids for those of you that do not know them you are missing out, these kids are two of the most well-mannered polite kids there is in today’s society. The Green family should be very proud.
While talking about kids I got to talk with Mike Erbe about Laura’s quest into K-State and her venture to become a vet. Mike advised that Laura was going to be able to start vet school earlier than most kids based on her grades and the amount hours she has already received credit for in her first year of school. I think the plan is for Laura to hurry and graduate, get home open a vet office and provide medical service to the farrowing operations of their hog farm so Monte can finally retire and not have to worry about the farm going broke in the hands of the boys. Now this is just my opinion of Monte’s plan but we all know how those Grandpas put trust in them granddaughters over their own sons sometimes. For those of you that don’t know Laura well I assure you and it’s a proven fact that if you have ever met anyone smarter than her you must have shook the hand of Einstein, she is very gifted and hard working.
