I was sure never Johnny Hidehunter, I ain't as forgiving and lienent as Honest Bill, and I'm not on the level of Jimmy Prohunter yet. It really depends on who I draw. If I draw a cast of the familiar players we all kind of know how we all handle things. If I get an inexperienced handler and I'm judging, we'll do the best to go by the rules but I'm going to make sure they understand them as well so they don't cry foul. I could drop some names of some inexperienced hunters and youth handlers I drew last year and they could tell you the same. In fact, I've been beat by some youth handlers packing coondogs (at least on that night) and I sure didn't cut them any breaks.
Cutting an inexperienced handler all the breaks isn't helping them out and steam rolling them ain't either. Awarding they're dogs plus and minus when they have it coming, and making sure they understand as to why they're dog was minused makes for proud winners and gracious losers.

We shouldn't have to do that with grown adults that have been playing the game awhile. No reason they can't handle themselves like sportsman.

I've drawn you 2x, and members of your posse 2x. I don't think we've ever had a cross word or disagreement. I'd hunt with you and them at any hunt.
