When the time comes we will be glad to get you a Gauge pup there has been some fine females bred this year.

As for bettering the breed , I would not go that far all I have done thus far is buy some good hounds and put them under 1 roof, we will see how that all works after a few generations!!!

Here's is the videos of Pete from last nite. Had coon in both and both were old laid up coons. He never opened on the ground, just came treed. The second vid, the coon climbed a smaller tree that went into a huge redoak. Here's Pete

Not too bad for an old woodlot coon blue dog Danny! LOL I wish you the best with the old knucklehead. Hopefully he will get the hunting & work he deserves now. He is too nice of a hound to sit in the pen as much as he did. I hope he gets to cranking for you.

Ed Keilman and his boy came over tonite and hunted. We hunted his walker hound and Ivy for 3 turnouts. First drop we treed a coon on the out side, second drop they got treed on a den and the last drop, they where spit treed, Ed's walker was on a den and Ivy had a coon on a big red oak. Ivy really exsploded on her tree and I knew she had a coon. She had every strike. She still young but she finished the night in style! I was proud of her seeing how she hasn't been hunted in 2 months. Wind was blowing bad but coon seemed to running great. Never thought I would let Ivy go from the kennel but she now lives with Ed Keilman and his boy in PA. They really liked her and will give her a great home and the hunting she needs. His son's eyes were lit up like a christmas tree when his dad made the deal to buy her. He smiled from ear to ear and you could see he was on cloud nine! Later, Danny G.

Pete is a nice young hound and hunts the way I like one too. Thanks for treating me right and giving me a chance to work with him. As we talked, he needs hunted hard and tonite when I hunted Ivy with some guys from Pa., He wanted to go real bad. I don't know it all but I do know a little. I'm going to hunt him and then make a few calls and get him to a great home so he can get hunted hard. He. as we both know and talked has a few issues but I seen enough last nite to know he has it in him, just have to get it out and that means hard huntin. When he goes to a new owner, I'll tell them what he is and as always tell them the truth. Sold Ivy tonite and she was my pride and joy!! She isn't perfect but has yet to be given the time in the timber that it takes to make a top hound! Don't be surprized if I don't sell them all and buy a new ranger bass boat!! LOL!! Not only is she a great showwoman Megan made every tree when we were hunting Shadow then Shadow and Hemi then Gauge!! I was done at this point and Megan went on the 3rd shift with the Walker dog!!!
Thanks to all that stopped by at Ashland had a good time visiting and meeting everyone.

Hey Dave yeah I towed my own room with me this time but I did get to stay at the Taush Ma Hall earlier this year and Scotty Casey was introduced to our favorite motel.LOL

Shadow is out of Gauge x To Tuff Betty looks like he is gonna make the grade! He can get treed about as quick as any I have seen and is accurate. Little bugger can really move a track for a youngster. Hope to have him in the hunts this year.

I hear you have changed your address and have a roommate. I will come over i have Stone home now and a couple decent females here and an old female hound here i like. Let me know when you want to hunt.

SHADOW IS ONE GOOD LOOKING HOUND,CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM! MY WHITEY PUP LOOKED GOOD LAST NIGHT,LOOKS LIKE SHE WILL MAKE IT BUT ITS STILL EARLY BEEN IN THE WOODS ABOUT 5 TIMES SO FAR AND I'M LIKING WHAT I'M SEEING,SEEN HER SPLIT FROM HER MOTHER AND THAN LAST NIGHT SHE WENT RIGHTHANDED FROM MEMPHIS AND GOT STRUCK AND DID A NICE JOB OF IT,CAN'T WAIT FOR DARK THIRTY TO HIT...
