I have your papers on the pup. I turned my two males loose in the yard yesterday. They disappeared, found them two hours later, a quarter mile away in the timber. It looks like Granddad and great Granddad came through strong! I may need some young guys to help me hunt them! They will kill me! I will try to get over there this weekend sometime for a hunt.

Hunted with Josh Lock last night with his puppy. The pup is too young really to do much but he will sure tree on a good scent tree. His pup is out of JC gyp and Turk I believe.

Adam called an invited me up this weekend. It's looking like Sat night. Wish it wasn't 3 hrs away.

I know you guys are having a bunch in to hunt. Hope you all have a safe and good hunt.

We have had some outstanding hunts at the Bunkhouse the last couple of nights, its been a Bluetick gathering, larger than some UKC hunts. There were 14 dogs put in the woods ( 4 groups) on Fri night and 19 last night. There won't be as many tonight, the Wisc boys are headed back this A.M. But some Ia boys are going to take there place .

Tim,

I made it up to hunt with Adam and Lyonel. Had a prettydecent hunt. Treed four trees with coon, two dens and one where Adam couldn't find a coon. We did have a couple pretty good races that didn't last very long but they were good while they lasted. Adam had Grubby, Lyonel with Buck and I had Rebel and Rip. Every one of the hounds had their moment with doing something alone and a couple treees together.

How did your hunt at the bunkhouse go? I heard that you guys treed 8 singles, pretty good hunt. I don't remember who you hunted with and what dogs you guys had, must have been a lot of power........Tim

Tim. We had great weekend.
Thurs. I hunted with Guy Dehene,Art Lee,Ryan, and Nitskhe ( goood hunt,)
Friday. I hunted with Scott and Nitskhe. Dogs looked good in the rain all night. lots of split trees
Sat. I hunted with Ryan, Art Lee and Nitskhe ( 8 coon in 3 turnouts) lots of split trees
I hunted Stone Mtn Kate ( Spike X Ivy) and Scamp ( Arkie)
It's easier when everyone is hunt good old dogs !!! Everyones dog looked really good.
None of us were hunting anything younger than two.
I am going to return the favor and go to Wisc. in Oct. after the Fall roundup if Kate has had her pups. Let me know if you want to go also?

Well I guess Ruby gets to stay home next weekend she just started to drip. I think that I would rather get a litter of pups out of her than win the world Hunt with her ( Mackie Manns would just get all the credit HA HA ). Ruby is 7 and only comes in heat once a year. She is sired by Wild-N-Blue Spanky and her dame is Wild-N Blue Mindy II.........Tim

I plan on breading her to my John II dog. Ruby has 3 wins towards GR NT and should make it before she has pups. Ruby sat for close to 3 yrs and was not hunted before I bought her this spring. She isn't doing to bad, she is a real tree-dog........Tim

Finished My Lady female to GR CH yesterday, she won with 3 BFOS and 5 straight CH wins. She also won Queen of Show Zone One BBOA. Now she will be headed for the hunts, she is definately Dual Gr Material.

Hunted ole Zip last night he scored 575+ on 3 coon, Sean Higgins Rocky scored 625 + on 4 coon, Rocky had one coon all by his lonesome. Boys, this is one fine young hound! When you turn him loose he knows what he is supposed to do..and he does it. That makes 3 wins on him, congrats Sean, he deserved the win and looked good getting it..........Tim........will have to go back tonight to try to get # 5 on Zip........Tim

Hey Tim, I just wanted to let you know that the pup out of Zip is really starting to crank. I've had her out 4 times this weakend and she started ahead of the old dog twice and took them to tree ahead of him too. She is getting coon crazy! the little 5 mounth old pup is running with the dogs and opening on track and getting on the tree too.
