"PROGRESSION CONTINUE'S"

Every night the dog is gettin better. Split treein, droppin outa race's & gettin hooked, holdin the pressure & sounding impressive.

I said something about sellin him & Matt said he's not goin anywhere...LOL!! Just wanted to see his response!!

Some fella's from our club comin tonight to see the bludawg's. They have them hound's with a lot of white on them. "MAYBE" we can do some convertin?

To be honest with ya there are some midgit's among'um but on average 45 lb female's 55-60 lb male's. Exception of course I'm just speakin average's.

That is where we're hopin to get a lil help via "Patch" on gettin some bone back in'um & a lil more size. We have done an awful lotta huntin the past two winter's in some deep snow & the one thing that bother's me 'bout the economy model's is their inability to do their task to the best of their ability.

Seem's like they don't have much choice other than to follow the trail breaker's. Just part of that over all balance thing I guess for me.

Not lookin to create 80 lb pup's just wantin more substance over all.

"LOOKIN DOWN THE ROAD WITH BOTH EYE'S OPEN" I reckon....

"IN A BIT OR TWO"

For those that requested a visual of some old pedigree's, I'll get to it in a bit. Gotta get away from this thing for a while & get to my hillbilly physical therapy session & give what's left of me noggin a break.

Ya know, like tryin not to step on any puppy feet while they are a swarmin & the freindly visit's with the crew...............

"THANK'S BUT"

Roger, the credit goes to the dawg's. We are just guidence counselor's the way I see it!!

Did I tell ya 'bout my newest prospect "Chik"? "Robin" the lead explorer at the time seem's to really enjoy takin her lil Blue yardmate's on investigative mission's.

Saturday mornin I let the hurd out & within minute's all 6 pup's followed the old dog(4 month's) up above the house & outa sight not to be seen for quite some time.

Four of them made it back & the other two was doin the lost puppy howlin thing till they heard me callin for them. Two have left me this weekend & one more to go next week then it's just our three.

Bill Kaenel got his lil female this weekend on saturday. Last night he called & carried on about her for an hour & a half. Windin dog food on the counter & barkin. Know's her name & is another generation of housedawg's. Say's she as smart as any pup he's seen. All that from a 24 hour period. Bill is a runt collector from way back!!

spice

Russ did Spice have any bad experiences with a house cat that you are aware of?? I told you about her and the cage coon at ashland well I was worried about the cat in the house with the pup. I was envisioning treed kitty and shredded curtains LOL
However the reality is she is shall I say respectful of the house cat. Like so respectful i saw a reverse chase this mornin and the pup was on the front end of it.
Just wonderin thought maybe there was a cat in the holler that was teachin coon puppies what was what.
Kevin

Not that I'm aware of but hard to say straight up when their on the open range Kevin. Cat's tend to swing purty wide of this place & havn't seen one since last summer. The one's that do show up don't seem to be around long.

Maybe the Bluebird's taste better on the other side of the road !

The terrier & "Bum" do a fine job of keepin the mice in check.............
