Hi Velocity only 2 ways that coon was getting away Hole or Hang / they put their feet on the ground & they are DONE when Rat gets after them lol Rat has only had 1 fight with a coon it had him backed off but Rat was not missing a lick barking at him I finished that fight with 22 LR / No joke Rat is treed on a steep side hill / I hunt off the 4 wheeler / Rat gets to run a good mile across mostly open fields to get to this place & the way I go in it is all down hill off either side but it does have good logging roads down over ect / you would not want to hunt it on foot it is steep but on 4 wheeler not bad at all !

I have not been hunting since Wed. nite / Rat put my total coon shot count to #31 / I hope to make that at least 50 by the end of our Pa season / both these videos are a little long due to my shooting / have not got my gun sighted in yet but will before my next hunt / now I could have shot both of these coons in the body with ease but I am a head hunter when shooting out them coons / a little kickin is plenty good enough for them hounds to see when they hit the ground / my coon shot #'s are low but all 31 were Good Quality runs & have done a few hounds some Good / This is what season is all about getting that good start on hounds / If you are smart always have 1- 4/5 month old pup to carry along through kill season & you will increase your chances of ending up with a good coon hound / Let um be a pup don't whoop on them don't hunt them with a gator / If they don't go take them into every tree don't worry about getting them to tree pet um work them on tree a little bit & tie them back & let um watch & take it all in simple they got it in them things will start to happen & the fun begins !

The fun is getting better all the time with Rat

Glad to hear Rat is earning the good life for ya. I wish i could hunt off 4 wheelers or atleast mules. one of these days, but i guess i would have to move out your way.Its getting a little questionable around here weather we will be able to keep hunting hounds at this pace ....

Congrats ROVER DOG is that our(actually yours) LOL very own RAT and ANNIE in Larry TUTTLES add this month in BLOODLINES ? I meet larry out at little mountain Music a couple of years ago and he showed me a few pups off his Dogs ...Nice guy and Nice hounds....

Hi Velocity you come up my way we will hunt off 4 wheeler & if you dont have one to hunt off you can ride with me / I just say hang on & away we will go lol If you have a 4 wheeler bring it will show you some good pipeline riding & tree some raccoons ! Yep that would be Rat & Anny in Larry Tuttles Danny Boy ad made my day ! I am going to look on map & see where Thornsdale Pa is

Hi Paul no hunting for me since last Wed nite but will give it a try tonight it is still & going to stay cold all week here / only 27* now here / been waiting for the moon to cut back / this cold & brite moon does not make for good coonhunting around here / the hunting should get better as the month of Feb goes on some Good runs !

I have only ever delt with 4 stud dog owners on getting a female bred & they were / Glen Hurler with Dancer / Jeremy Thomas with Belle / Barry Hall with Grizzly & Larry Tuttle with Danny Boy / All 4 are serious about what they do & have treated me well through the years & I Thank all 4 of these fine Men !

Hey Tom Rat is lookin good. Has come a ways since 1st video was posted of him! Good job! Keep up the hard work! I've been doin a lot of hunting with my male dog Beau but haven't been putting them up with the frequency I am used to! He is showing me a lot though. Have been working him at gettin by HIMSELF and it has been paying off!Tonight we cut him AWAY from Dave's TOM dog and he GOT AWAY and treed a coon! Here's the video. Only cell phone video. I left the darn camera in the truck and had to walk him a little ways...



By the time I was done finding the coon and messin around at the tree, I noticed TOMMY was past us and out, so I cut BEAU behind him. TOM struck and not long later the chase was on with BOTH of them! Sometimes that's not a good thing bc those 2 like to get OUT THERE together. They did... 750 yards. LOL. TOMMY came treed 1st and then Beau not long later. Sounded like he COVERED but if you watch the video we were BOTH very very happy when we got to the tree....s!

Made two drops tonight,the first one I didnt have the camera,then Rat sunk in some BIG timber and got treed on this leaning tree going to a den.

Hi Joe I have not watched your video yet but will in a few more mins / I like what I am hearing about Beau a dog that will get by its self & have a coon & recast back in & not be to jealous to cover another dog with a coon that is a Nice hound ! Beau sure looks Good in that Bloodlines ad that was a Good pict of him ! Coincidence or what do you think Joe it is Great ! Thanks Joe Rat & I will keep at it !

Got 1 coon Treed tonight Anny & Crook .92mile from the truck but I got to drive within 55yrds to them But they were 15/20yrds above a 30/35yrd strait up & down rock cliff / found a way up over right across from somebody's house / worked back on a angle following a Good deer trail / did not shoot coon to steep to let dogs go on it / I need to trap these coon out & move them ! Did 1 more turn with Crook Alone & he holed one ! Circle points lol Did not hunt Rat or JoJo / Them coons are running my boy saw 2 lastnight fox calling & he left them alone so roverdog & his mutts can get them help get to that 50 mark ! The coyotes are doing Alot of barking here now / not sure why any of you guys know ? I gotta get Anny & Crooks nails trimmed they are digging to deep into the trees ! 3 videos to watch a good way to end the night MUSKINGRIVER yours is #3 I will be watching soon

are matting just like the fox and coon and the cats should be starting aney time now,i am taking my young dog to drop him off in ohio for 7 weeks to get him hunted hard,caney creek gambler and 4 wat littel hunting i will get to do i will be hunting his full litter mate ace and jayson will be hunting there full litter mate budey they are all 3 full litter mates out of vegas and my bo bitch they are going to make BETTER THAN AVERAGE MEANING coon dogs GOOD LUCK HUNTING EVERY ONE I JUST CANT WAIT TO GO i here the woods calling me and the hounds and i will be out there verry verry soon.david

Rover rover oh red rover how has it been. I have been running my walker pup and she has treed 103 coon in 3 trees I don't have any pics because coonhunter_ doesn't allow pics but it's true oh yes it's true.

Give me a call when you get a chance I am taking dolly the sunrise pup out to ohio for a month want to see if you want to ride along maybe take texas crook and rat do a night of hunting or so

Treed three coons on Monday night they were really running. Only took one video and snapped a few quick pictures. Trying to get some winter weight off of Magic. I don't want to be picked on at these local coon hunts. ha ha

Tom Rat looks real good keep it up, we will have to go for a hunt soon.

RJ good to see that you are still around. How is the pup doing?

Good looking dogs everyone. i have an 8yr old black and tan and a 5 month old walker she will run with the other dogs most of the time but comes back alot... hope she turns out to be a good dog. Got to get her some more coons though. good hunting to every one

4 dens lastnight & I will say Rat looked his best ever this little dog can move a track with authority & strikes quick / uses his mouth right & just plain Slamms the tree & has that change over we all like to hear ! It was cold 20*& windy & spitting snow

Coondawg_hunter you had a good night last week / were them flats a little flooded lol your RedBones run that track round & round the corn field for hour & half dont sound like no coon to me them foxes will make your experienced RedBones look bad lol Now Anny & Crook run a track for hour & half they would probably be 3/4/5 miles away & treed that is a fact / they run a fox like your RedBones did they would fall off treed / they are not the type to run junk that long !

that was the pups you sean when you was here..out of queen=vegas...i have a nother litter of littel ones sold soom and keep all three femals and one male pup but 1 of the femals are jaysons 3 for me 1 for him.i will sale one more by spring.this litter is queen=jeoff and soon as queen comes back in she will be breed one more time to a dog in the north i dont need them out of this next litter but i am breeding to get 2 bitches out of this male becauls he is 15 years old and will not be here to much longer well hell i will tell you who he is cence it came out in the mag. this moth most people thought he was deed CHGRNITECH pr ROCK RIVER TELL SACKETT AND IT WAS CLEARED BY FRANK GIDDINGS yes i know frank my unceal donald lives just 3 houres from him where i hunt up north in michigan cence i was a kid every fall well just about every fall and if i have a half way litter i am going to give CHRISTY CLAYTON a pup,i had all ready told christy this befor the add came out tell was still alive but one thing was not my favorate was JR bottem side.one good thing is queen the mother of these litters out of her with is 2 and going to be 3 if nothing happens to tell is queen is A COON DOG and the onley falt i got to her is she is no pup trainer but turn her loos get her off the wood WITH THE MEAT she is verry verry acrate.got my mane test back i was wored about and it was clear so now i just got 7 weeks of radeadion and that is just to help prevent it to not come back but the good part is i can hunt while taking the treetment,i am seanding one of my young dogs to ohio to be hunted for 7 weeks soon as the weather there is better,david....ps i did not advertice the jeoff litter of pups and people are still calling every day but 4 now nun of them is for sale becals we just keep thoes 4 and sold 3

This picture and videos are from last Thursday night.... We found a honey hole somewhere in SW PA! This was one of the best nights I've had in the winter months! We treed 4 coon in less than 2 hours of hunting in the same woods!

Here's a picture of what we saw when walking into the first split tree.


Beau had a coon here! ...so did Tom




Here's the 2nd split. Had a coon here too!


Hope everyone is staying out of the 2+ft of snow we got!!!

Hi guys not much going on here with the coon hunting / hunted another KC last Thurs & got beat & yep I got to hunt with Craig & Magic / dog I hunted 1st strike / 1st tree in there .60 in somebodys yard & judge says hey I thought I saw a puddycat & he did see a puddycat lol 200- Craig & Magic stayed out of trouble & won they are a Tuff pair to beat ! I did get 1 turn on JoJo Fri nite & she holed 1 & I could hear the coon growling going in but it was not to be seen when I got to her / JoJo did good ! No hunting with Rat or Anny since their last picts above

MUSKUMINGRIVER we may be hunting the same Rat / we lucked out no snow here BUT we may get hit by this next storm / get a crust on your snow & them coon will move / I have a tuff time in deep snow get tired quick walking in it

Hi David that is special getting to breed to Tell Sackett & he is no doubt a Fine looking hound & reproducer / very happy to hear you are clear / follow the doctors orders & keep a positive attitude & things will be good ! Good Hunting with them hounds !
