I visit this thread pretty regular and have found it to be very helpful, I have even posted a reply or two on here.

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else on here, but the LORD has lead me to attend another place of worship, it all started a few months ago and I was very slow in knowing what GOD wanted of me, he had laid it on my heart to visit other places and he had put this one place on my heart a couple of times but I never went until 1/17/2010 for their Sunday School class and morning worship hour, then I went back Sunday night, then Wed. night and again this past Sunday morning. Back last summer their Pastor came in one morning and told them that the Lord had lead him to go somewhere else and that was his last day there, now I'm not throwing off on him, he has to do what the Lord lays on his heart to do, but anyway the first morning I was there the people at the church was asking me who I was and things like that, so I told them, some of them knew some of my family, I had no ideal who they had as a pastor then he walked in shaking everyone's hands and when he came to me he said hello Barry some of the women asked did I know the pastor and I said yea me and Brother Bobby (the pastor) go back about 30 years we use to squirrel hunt together back then and a few more things I am ashamed of (drinking) any way the service went great, and on Weds. night Brother Bobby said God laid it on his heart to ask me if I wanted to get up and say anything, and God had laid it on my heart to get up and speak, will the thought the Lord laid on my heart was just a opener for his message, they was both about faith and the power of faith, this past Sunday morning he asked me again, my thoughts and message was about obedience, yea you guessed it his message was also on obedience, looks like God has lead me to where he wants me to help, don't get me wrong I had already been talking to my pastor for the last few months about what I was feeling in my heart and he knows that I have to follow the Lord!
You see after the pastor had up and left the church it has fallen off alot, I think God wants me to help my old friend Brother Bobby to help get it back to where God wants it. so please keep me and this little church in your prayers. Thanks and God bless Amen

I have recently lost my 7 month old son that was perfectly healthy and he never woke up from his nap at the daycare. My wife and I have been in a daze ever since. I feel somewhat at peace that he is in heaven but my wife is very angry. We are both Christians. Could you please pray for me and my family.

... Bob and I will be praying for you and your wife.... Anger is normal after such a terrible loss. Some people have a hard time dealing with it. Bereavement groups(there are usually ones assoc. with your CHurch, Local Hospitals etc... REALLY help. I had friends lose triplets at birth and they had a network thru their Jewish Temple... with other parents who lost babies... it helped as did their own Faith in God(even though it is different).... When Bob lost is first wife he went to a bereavement group for widows and widowers.. In other words it helps to be with people who have shared the same sort of loss...
Bob and I cannot imagine how you feel... but we send prayers for strength and Peace and Love... especially for your wife who is having a harder time coming to terms with God wanting and Needing your little one more now....

Everything is going great at the little Church so far and I am glad I followed his LOVING SPIRIT to this little Church. I feel as if GOD is going to use me in a great way at this little Church.

Mike Maggard, My heart and prayers go out to you and your wife, I don't know what it is like to lose a 7 month old baby, but I do know about losing our first born daughter at birth, I felt her kick in her mothers womb the very day that my wife gave birth. Only GOD knows what happened, I can't imagine what it would have been like to have had her here with us on this earth for seven months and then have GOD call her away to Heaven, again my heart and prayers go out to you and your wife, may GOD help you through this time in JESUS name I pray AMEN!

WERE ALWAYS MAKING GOALS TO BREAK BAD HABITS,TO LOSE WEIGHT,TO PAYOFF BILLS,AND MANY OTHER THINGS .AT FIRST WE ARE EXCITED AND WE REALLY GO AFTER IT!BUT AFTER A WHILE WE GET LAZY;WE GET TO THE POINT WHERE WERE NOT WORRIED ABOUT IT AS MUCH AS WHEN WE STARTED OUT.BUT THEN WE GET COMFORTABLE RIGHT WHERE WE ARE.{WHERE WE ARE}MAY NOT BE A BAD PLACE,BUT WE KNOW ITS NOT WHERE WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE.WERE NOT STRETCHING OUR FAITH.WERE NOT PURSUING THE EXCELLENCE THAT GOD HAS PLACED IN OUR HEARTS.MAYBE YOU HAVE BEEN KICKED BACK JUST COASTING LATELY ,THINKING THAT YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR LIMITS.IF THATS SO,YOUR NOT STRETCHING YOUR FAITH.YOU ARE NOT BELIEVING IN AN INCREASE.NO ,DONT STOP NOW HALFWAY TO YOUR GOAL ON TOP OF YOUR MOUNTAIN,BELIEVE AND OUR AWSOME GOD WILL GIVE YOU MORE.{ROMANS 1:17 FOR THEREIN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD REVEALED FROM FAITH TO FAITH;AS IT IS WRITTEN,THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.} DO A LITTLE STRETCHIN TODAY, GOD LOVES YAS ,WE LOVE YAS, HAVE A BLESSED DAY, YOUR FIRND IN CHRIST,RON

My family and I went to church last night and was having a dedication for Krystal's neice (3 months old) . We sang and praised God and my step boy when to the front as if he was lead up there, then my oldest step boy followed. I had stayed in my place and noticed both of my boy with both arms raised . Krystal seen it as well and she went to be with them . With the 3 of them knelt down ,I couldnt take it any longer , so to the front I went , I was standing behind them as the preacher knelt to them and said a prayer. As I was standing behind them bout 4 feet , I felt a nudge from behind , I turned to look and no one was even close to me .It took a second to register that the Holy Spirit was pushin me to kneel to them , I did and felt something go through me , and as I felt it , Krystal and my 2 step boys looked around , (they felt it at the same time) we stayed down for awhile as the preacher laid a hand on each of us. When we got up we had a group hug with a strong embrace , it was like no other hug , this one was strong. This is the very first time anything like this has happened to us at the same time. Now my fiance has been studying the Bible everyday but always says she dont know what to believe , because SHE CANT BELIEVE IN SOMETHING SHE CANT SEE OR FEEL. Last night she felt the Holy Spirit go through her and now is a FIRM believer in God and His power!!!! Amen !!Our family has been through some very tough times and if you had read my past posts you will see that. I just want to add that if you are reading this and have any doubt about God and His works , please pray for understanding and knowledge, you will recieve the most powerful thing in the world. Those of you reading this that don't want to accept God for you fear want your friends might think or how you will be looked at , please take time today and get by yourself and pray, ask God to come into your heart and be with you and guide you through your life , if you do this , you wont regret it!!! I use to fear what other would think of me and how I would be judged by others in public , but I dont care , I knwo God is with me every step in life and I will do my part and try to lead others who have fear to Him. I thank each and everyone of you for reading this. Have a Blessed day and may God enter your life !!!
