Thanks everybody. We had a good hunt down there. Had a really good guide that put us in some good hunting and Smoke performed well. The snow was pretty deep but after treeing three on the outside and one den it didn't seem to bad. Hunted with a nice blue female that had a pretty loud mouth. Gonna go to paola next weekend and try to get another win!

It may be a Walker sectional and that means bunches of spots, no matter how many Walkers there are all you have to BEAT is Three (the ones in your cast). Good luck and call him on what he is doing not what you want him to do. Those Walker guys like to give the Blue dogs a hard time.............Tim

I think he allready tried the Micky D deal and it didn't fly.
Man it's cold here this morning, -19deg. Started the truck and let it run for a bit and when I left for work turned on the defroster and my windshield cracked. I'm ready for a change in weather.

That sucks on the windshield, I always start my truck and let it warm up but I always leave the defrost on so it warms up slow, a little late for that tip now, sorry.

Any of us up north will see your 2 inches and raise you at least 6, lol. I'm fortunate, most of our snow was so windblown it blew off. East and north of me was way worse and I feel for them, it was bad enough here.

Iv'e checked around and found out the Paola hunt is NOT a walker sectional. I must have been dreaming. But it is in walker country.
I don't know if I can get off work in time to go myself but Timmy is going. Bret Brownback may go with him and if Bret doesn't hunt his young black and tan he might hunt Robin for us.
The weather is supposed to be great this weekend but I doubt if all the snow will be gone. If you decide to come over give me a call, you can stay at our house if you want.

Timmy is hunting Smoke in the Nt Ch and I am going to hunt Robin in the open reg. We will see if she is ready. I am excited to see how she does with a cast of strange dogs. She might get super independant because she for sure has a mind of her own.

Timmy said that the dogs got in deep on an old boar runnin back home. That gives Smoke three wins toward Grand.
I hunted open reg with Robin, didn't win my cast but was very pleased with the way Robin hunted.
We treed our first coon and had it scored in 15 min. The next drop Robin located on a hill and I jumped the gun and treed her, big mistake! they were there a total of 20 seconds and blew out of there and got in about 3/4 of a mile and treed but they had a den.Next drop the time ran out on us.
I drew out with Gerald Parker and he won the cast and 1st place open reg with his Cindy female. She's nice.
