LARRY I BEEN HUNTING ABBY BY HERSELF SOME THIS WEEK AND SHE HAS TREED 3 COON AND A DEN. SHE CAN DRIVE A TRACK AND A LOUD HARD TREEDOG. SHE'S LOUDER THAN ALOT OF MALE DOGS OUT THERE. SHE'S STILL A LONG WAYS FROM A COON DOG BUT SHE'S DEFINETELY ON HER WAY.

Bo won king of hunt last night. Treed 3 got slick on 1 and made 4 circle trees. Did a nice job but the tracking got tough after about 10. It was good seeing ya and hopefully I can get up that way shortly.

HUNTED ABBY BY HERSELF AGAIN TONIGHT. FIST DROP SHE RAN A COON DOWN AND COUGHT IT IN SOME BLOWN DOWN TIMBER FROM THE TORNATO A FEW YEARS BACK. IT DID MANAGE TO GET FREE AND CLIMB A SAPPLING ABOUT 7 FT OFF THE GROUND. MAN WAS SHE TREED ON THAT ONE. NEXT SHE STRUCK IN THE BOX AS I PULLED INTO WHERE I WAS HUNTING. SHE DROVE THIS TRACK JUST OVER 700 YARDS AND JUST AS I WAS THINKING WHAT IS SHE RUNNING SHE LOADED UP AND TREED ANOTHER COON. LAST DROP SHE HAD A TOUGHER TRACK BUT STILL MOVED IT GOOD AND ENDED UP TREED ON A DEN.

Darn English Dogs in my 100 years I guess you just never know Ha I guess you could go back on the ped. and study the dogs Peds. some being more dominate in the colar they thro...My old Bingo dog was real dominate in near everthing he thru was a redtick no mater what he was bred to....I am seeing a lot of open red/white with some ticking rather than the heavy ticked dogs but the female has a lot or as much to do with that....Not much help here....

Travis ..Your right about that good taking those photos and good with the young dogs too....He's got two down there Critter and Stumpy..And Buddy thanks for the invite if I could get around better i'd be at your door...Great day today getting up to 50 but still snow in the woods...I have been out a couple times this week just walk real slow and easy to a tree and call it quits...Just taking a lot longer than I thought....

Another Great Night....I'm starting to get out a little and really enjoying it...Eric came over last night and we took Smoke and his pup Stumpy went to two woods treed 3 coons and a den and I make it to all 4 trees...You don't know what you miss until your not able to do it............Larry

Larry good to hear you and Eric are back at it.. I hope the weather and knee both hold up for you....
