Congrats Scott & fam on the sweet baby girl. I agree with Heather, she's a pretty little thing!

Got this picture from the Solum family. They said they killed 108 coon this season with their 20 month old Ox x Rain pup, Ben. We've heard several updates about this pup from others who've hunted with him. Sounds like he's a nice one. Great job guys.....keep up the good work with him.

That picture of the Solums and their coon is my favorite picture on this whole site. Takes me back to when I and my brothers tried to catch every coon we could. I am sure we had just as much fun, but we weren't nearly as successful! Congratulations to you young men. Hope you continue to enjoy the hunt as much as I have.

Jesse, there were a couple walker dogs in there if you look hard enough!

Carl, we're with you.....ready for spring. But, kind of enjoying this rest too. Spring will be here before we know it. I actually do have a couple pics to update. Aubrey's nephews gave us these pictures last night. They had fun this season with their houds Buck (Rip x Foxxy) and Rambler (Clyde x Boo). Aubrey's real proud of those boys, they love to hunt......he says they take after the Butler side of the family.

Austin & Rambler and Jon & Buck with their harvests from the year. They caught that thing in the midde in a livetrap and thought they'd see if they could skin it? Yup, that's Butler blood alright!

Ox and Bonnie pup

I did a little drag training with Abby (Ox and Bonnie pup) this was her second time and she looked like an old pro. I'm really impressed with her for only being 10 months old. Here she is at the first tree.

Terry emailed a few photos over last night. I think he was going to knock the dust off of Rock, however, it doesn't look like he collected any! Looking forward to seeing Terry work Rock toward Quad Champion this year.

It's finally happened! Aubrey went hunting for the first time in 2013! Is he slacking or what! We still have quite a bit of snow & ice, but he just couldn't wait any longer. Competition season is knocking on the door!

He took Tater & Spice (littermates out of Rip x Maggie).

I always notice how consistent these dogs always look. I can't tell them apart from the pics. That is a sign to me of good breeding . ounds like in the woods they are also very similar.

Thanks Kelly. It's easy to tell them apart when you look at them every day , but I do agree there is definitely consistencies. Selectively concentrating those desired traits is what we're after.

Jay, I told Abram what you said, and he just gave a goofy grin and crossed his eyes! Congrats on your win! Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Carl, I know Aubrey told you the other day for us, but a very Happy Birthday to you! Scott, where's the cowbell?! I was for sure you'd bring that out!!! Also, Happy Belated Birthday to Krista!!

Aub been rollin with Dice & Tater when he can. Took them out the other night, made a drop with Dice and treed one on the outside, made a drop with Tater and treed one on the outside, and made another drop with Dice and again another on the outside and called it a night. He wasn't gone too long.
