Good Evening!

Hi Everyone!

I have gotten so far as to get the pix off the cam onto the comp..... and I WILL deal with them at some point. Today I had a nice rest day.... fire in the am...nap thru noontime and now we have a nice fire going again. I do love it! Supposed to get a lil bit of snow I hear... very little, hopefully cause if we get TOO much... the plow truck is with a friend and that will be a pain! lol...
Dan, I agree on that poem!

Pttm08... sorry bout the deer but GOOD luck with the coon area!!!!

Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbuck....... Bob liked your pix and esp the DARKEST dawg( he and me both go for the dark ones... like the lil gal we hunted with way back when... )
Bond... I ate like a PIG today... but I did exercise... I think I'll be a blimp for a few months..... HELP! lol...
James... I can't even imagine what the chemo. place would be like......... I sure hope grandmother can do well and bring some GOOD cheer to the other patients as well........ She is in Our Prayers!
Dan... I agree on each waking day too.... What a Blessing each one is.. even the lousy ones!

Have a Great one! Heather

A bit of information that may be useful if you ever leave a 100 round box of 22 shells in the side pocket in your carhart pants and they get washed and dryad they may look just fine but they a'nt

Two brothers live in the same neighborhood, and one asks the other to take care of his cat while he is out of town on vacation.

He returns from vacation and asks his brother, "So, how is my cat?"

His brother says, "The cat died."

The cat owner is shocked, and says, "That is terrible! You should never give me such bad news bluntly. You should break the news gently, like saying 'The cat went out on the roof. We tried to get her down safely, but then she fell off. She sustained an injury so we took her to the vet. The vet tried very hard and took really good care of her. But sadly, the cat was just too badly injured and she died.' "

The (former) cat-owning brother is very sad, but he doesn't want to belabor the point and decides to change the subject.

"Well, how has our mother been doing while I was gone?" he asks.

His brother says "Well, Mom went out on the roof . . . "

Hello everyone.

Prayers sent formomma, grandma and the boss.

Corky - we have lost a bunch of deer to black tounge.

I have seen a bunch of deer and actually shot at a couple but I am still deerless. My son shot a nice buck with his antlers broken off. I will post pictures later.

bb - great pics as always.

Congrats to Brandon and Jeff.

Corky, mother is better, grandmother is doing pretty well. She is 90, diabetic, eyesight is going, has a type of cancer in her bone marrow ( long name but they dont call it leukemia ). The chemo makes her a little sick and the steroid she has to take with it blows her sugar way out of wack. Bout the time it all settles down, it is time for another treatment.

Afternoon all,
Corky, nice pics from the grandkids.
There are plenty of deer around I just have not seen any. I have got 4 deer in the freezer so far. My BIL killed two and is not allowed to take the meat inside his house, lol. My brother killed on and now my FIL killed one yesterday. So have plenty of meat just would like to see some in the woods.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

Hi Guys!

And Gals!
We had less than an inch total. Hung around all day though in patches.
Look forward to the deer pix!
I'm staying warm! INSIDE the house....... I did have a quick run around with the mutts in the aftn... they were tracking the FOOD that the critters had spread from the compost area...lol...
Rested again lots today...and tonight I did my exercises and worked real hard on loosening the muscle I tweaked in my neck. I finally yelled for Bob and had him do a stretch on my neck I can't do. Either I am VERY numb... or I MIGHT be a tad better! WOoooHOooo! This has been the stiff neck from hell...so I wont miss it! I DO have a dentist appt tomorrow and with MY luck I'll get another kink in my neck...LOL...

have a Great night, HappyHunting Heather

Hello everyone.

Thanks Corky. He sure was excited.

WB - We got an 1" Suday, it melted off Monday. We got a dusting Monday night and it melted off Tuesday.

Me and 5 of my friends hunted all day today. 2 of the guys got deer today, I didn't get any shooting so I am still deerless.
