I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I went to my moms and ate entirely too much once again.

Corky - congrats to your grandson and his dad.

BB - congrats on the coon and ducks.

We had had unbelieveably nice weather for this time of the year, it was in the middle 60"s today. However the weather man says that is all going to change tonight.

Good morning. 46 cloudy with light rain.

Thanks Corky. I am glad the weather has changed, the coon should start moving better. It has been tough getting a track the last few days. I did manage to make 2 trees last night, one was a single and the other was a double but I had a couple drops that the dog went 600 yards without a bark. Had to load him up and go to a new spot.

I guess I will take the beagles out today.

I hope everyone has a great day.

HELLO!

Dan,
Love the poem. Read it outloud to Bob too I t was a Great outloud read, really flowed easily!
Thanks for sharing Heather and Bob too!

Nice pix, dawgs look awesome and Nice Buck too. Purty head!!

We had a Great Thanksgiving! Peaceful quiet and nice. I worked hard yesterday instead of today then this morning for some reason....as sore as I am(I have had a nasty kink in my neck for a couple weeks now)... I hopped in the shower early to loosen up the muscles... got out and... decided That was the time to get on my hands and knees and scrub the tub and the FLOOR???? in my robe! LOL.. What on earth was I thinking and doing? I think I've gone insane! (InsanER? )

Bob cut the top off that huge fir tree that fell in the storm... and it was 2 individual trees almost full too! BUT... the needles and wood on the two trees are kinda different! REALLY weird... it starts as one trunk, splits to 2, intertwines here and there...WEIRD! He put the tow "trees" on the posts of the front porch. At some point during the season I am SURE I'll get some pix!
We have PIGGED out for a couple days and I feel like a bloated tick! The praline yams were the BEST part of the meals again! lol... YUM!!!!
OH, and Friday night I had a nice icy glass of "sweet tea" but I spiked it with the last of Kennys bottle of Carolina sweet tea (the vodka)... and added some lemon juice.... YUMMY! It was nice and weak too.... Actually... in retrospect that mighta been wed. night before Thanksgiving? I'm too tired to recall!
Have a Great night, happy hunting and MORE PIX PLEASE!
Heather

Hi Dan!

From Bob! He is playing a new Zelda Video game on his laptop.... I'll be a Gaiming widow till he gets sick of it! lol.... darn our son Brandon for putting it on his comp while I was gone yesterday! LOL.... At least he will pause it for me to read stuff from here to him! I cannot play any vid. games. The kids LAUGH if they see me "play" I"m that bad. I WAS the Tetris Queen though... I could NOT be beat at that when My son Richard(26) was still Ricky and I was still a single mum and not head injured yet.... I TRIED to play since accident and even I CRACKED up! I sit and let the pieces fall to the bottom without even TRYING to move them to the correct place in the "puzzle".... Like I'm mesmorized! Bob's kids(and mine now by adoption) never saw me play that well but they seem to know me and RIchard well enough to believe I must have been good... lol... htey know me as a totally different person for sure. We blended well and that is indeed one of my most Thankful things. Of course my BOB is the prize of all prizes! I wake each day amazed I won the big prize for REAL and it's not a dream! Even if he is a distracted gameplayer who is getting a stiffneck and getting grumpy at self! LOL....
Have a Great night, Heather

Good morning. 27 and snowing.

BB - Nice buck.

Thanks Corky. The weekend has been pretty good so far. I haven't coon hunted because of the wind and snow, I did have fun running the beagles Friday and Saturday. Me and my son are going to hang treestands today. Tomorrow is the opening of gun season.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Everyone!

Thanksgiving weekend is all over...Bob will be back at work tomorrow...kids back at school... all alone tomorrow... I bet I'll SLEEP ALL DAY! lol...
Nice day here today but cool. I think it's supposed to get quite COLD tonight too...BRrrrrrrrr! Yesterday Bob took the 2 tops of that BIG old tree that we had go down during Sandy and he tied them to the front porch( I may have told you but I forget...lol) anyway then his aunt and uncle picked up a whole van load of boughs for her florist arrangements! I asked her to send pix if she can too! Anyway today we strung the 2 trees with red lights... purty! First REAL tree here since????? Way back when.... I took some pix but too lazy to gettem to comp. yet...lol... I will though at some point.
OK, gonna see wassup and will TRY to get up to bed in THIS date... I've been awful this past week getting into bed at 4:30 or 5:30 am... not so good for my stiff neck. Last night I was the worst... was GOING to go up to bed when I woke around midnight and got sucked into a couple shows instead.. and was actually AWAKE till 4:30 am! lol... My sleep pattern is following a wishful thinking Coonhunting Schedule!
John, good luck deer hunting!!!! and have FUN too!

Have a Good night, HappyHunting Heather

Good morning everyone,
Corky hate to here about Red.
Shannon, Molly sure is looking good.
Dan W, nice buck your boy killed.
BB, Nice looking bears and buck.
Heather, I am sure the trees look great.
I deer hunted all week never even seen a deer, not for sure what happened to them on the farm however they have left town.
Did find the biggest coon "dropping" areas I have ever seen in my life. Now to get the dogs up there. If it is any indication there shuold be alot of coon. Found one rock that is about 12" wide and 15 foot long covered with piles. Would like to see some rain before I hunt it, it is really dry out here now.
Seems like everyone had a wonderful week. Now to get back into the work routine.

Hope every one has a great day.
