There were 2 Amish ladies digging potatoes. One held up 2 huge potatoes and told her friend. These remind me of my husband's balls. To which the other lady questioned. Wow they are that big? No the first lady replied they are that dirty!

Morning all,
Glad to see everyone on the mends and getting better.
Been nice and chilly in the mornings and making for nice hunting at night.
Wife asked me yesterday what I wanted for my upcoming birthday. New dog was out so I told her to just give me the money she would spend and I would go to the Grand American in January. So looks like I am heading to SC. Definately looking forward to it. Moved my make shift bench inside the garage and working with both dogs.
I hope everyone has a great day.

For those of you who watch what you eat, here is the final word on Nutrition and health. It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies:
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians.
3. The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians.
4. The Italians drink large amounts of red wine and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians.
6. Ukrainians drink a lot of vodka, eat a lot of cabbage rolls and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Americans, Australians, British, or Canadians

So eat or drink whatever you want, ------ apparently it's speaking English that kills you!

Two young guys appear in court after being arrested for smoking dope.

The judge says, “You seem like nice young men, and I’d like to give you a second chance instead of jail time. I want you to go out this weekend and try to convince others of the evils of drug use. I’ll see you back in court Monday.”

On Monday, the judge asks the first guy, “How did you do over the weekend?”

“Well, your honor, I persuaded 17 people to give up drugs forever.”
“Seventeen people? That’s wonderful How did you do it? “

“I used a diagram, your honor. I drew two circles like this: O o. Then I told them that the big circle is your brain before drugs and the small circle is your brain after drugs.”

“That’s admirable,” says the judge. Then he turns to the second guy. “And how did you do?”

“Well, your honor, I persuaded 156 people to give up drugs forever.”

“Wow!” says the judge “156 people! How did you manage to do that?”

“Well, I used a similar diagram,” the guy says. “I drew two circles like this: o O. Then I pointed to the little circle and said, ‘This is your azz hole before prison ….

Evening!

LOL... funny stuff James and John! lol....

Hope you are all having a good evening! Bob and I are avoiding TV... watching non commercial channels so we get to see election results when they make more sense.... Of course OUR state will be a Pres. Obama state... that is a given...but we have local stuff of importance. Bob and I voted next to Sen. Scott Brown at a bit past 7 this morning. We kinda like him to go back.... My son Richard and I were talking about that and how HE lives in Mitt Romneys home time where he voted(RIchard had already voted by absentee ballot from our town) but my Mum lives in Kennedy Town(Brookline) so THEY had BIG crowds cause one of the young kennedys is running for state rep.(I think) in our county(My Mums town and ours although miles apart are same county)... Anyway it was weird how all of us were in places that had big news crews...and we all avoided them somehow! lol.... Bob and I nearly RAN out of our polling place..... I was in "barn clothes" with bed head and he was in work clothes... didn't wanna be on tv! lol...
Our youngest son Dylan was able to vote In Fitchburg where his college is cause he LISTENED and registered there.... and he is hoping Scott Brown will eventually run for Pres. Our other son, Brandon had to take a LONG train ride home, get a ride to the polls from Bob and hop back on a train...cause he DID NOT listen...and is also in Fitchburg...LOL...
Kids!
VERY cold here this morning, frozen water in the barn etc... had fire going all day! Brrrrrrrr... Little Nor Easter on the way I guess...
And COrky, I feel pretty decent. I did NOTHING much today but... it felt GOOD! LOL....
Shannon, Get that other 20% better quick~ and Shannon and PT... Good luck at the Grand Amer!

have a Good one and... lets hope we wake to a GOOD STRONG America.... We a better economy for ALL!

HAPPYHUNTING! Heather

Oh my goodness!!!!! I bet that WB has an awful hangover this morning. He will have to go to work next week digging a big hole and building his doomsday bunker. I hope that he can still hunt this weekend.

Have you ever tried this before? Good luck, they will be calling out the casts while you are still showing. You have to have someone to sign up/confirm and stand in line for the calling out of the casts. You will get to bed at 4 AM and have to get up at 8 AM. I tried this at the Winter Classic many years ago and found out that I had to make a choice, hunt or show. I could not physically do both. (I haven't shown since)

"GOLDEN YEARS"

It seems like God will be smiling on Virginia this weekend. I just checked the weather report. It will be sunny with a high of 60 on Friday and a low of 39 Fri night. Sat the high will be 66 and the low Sat night will be 45. Sunday will be gorgeous with a high of 65. I filled up my car with gas and bought some more bullets at the Wal-Mart yesterday. I only paid $3.05/gal for the gas. Now all I have to do is pack my clothes and gear this afternoon and hit the road tomorrow. Ain't life grand?

How can you have faith in the trial by jury system when obviously over 50% of the people are idiots? Not much chance of getting a jury of your peers.

Yep you are correct on one thing Corky that I have spent a lot of time in northern VA lately working. Matter of fact just walked in the door and have been up there since Sunday night. But rest assure I have not nor will not lead any Obummer camp and just so you know I votes last week due to travel this week. I hope we can survive 4 more years. Being from a company that depends on the military contracts for a large part of our work its scary and geez what we going to pay on taxes will choke a jackass

Richard sure looking forward to the redbone va get together I need to relief and what better way then hang a weekend with you guys. Well WB will be there we will have to over look him. Lol

Honesty, it is still around. And prayers do work

This is not about anyone in my family but falls to the category of ....ummm...wow.

Ya'll know I do disaster restoration. One customer was an elderly widow who lived alone and had her basement flooded during storm Sandy. She had no flood insurance and the $4500 was going to be hard on her. Regardless of how I'll get paid, the work had to get done and we'll sort out payment later. She gave me a $1000 deposit check and we went to work.

On the third day, we were unloading a locker in the garage. Found a heavy bag in the bottom of the locker, soaked with muck and saltwater. Opened it up and it was full of silver coins. Behind that was and rusty ammo box, and sitting on top of that was an old Winchester 1890 slide action in .22 long. We brought the coins upstairs and with the widow and counted out $265 in silver. Current value of silver coins is 16 times face. Value = $4250. The 1890 is worth about $350 according to gunbroker so I gave her $250 in trade and returned her $1000 deposit.

The coins and gun belonged to her husband and she had forgotten about them.

She was praying for a miracle and it happened.

How were there just enough coins to cover her loss? You think her deceased husband was looking out for her? Happy ending but the whole thing is just too odd for words.

Hi Everyone...

.... We are just in the midst of "Athena" the lil NorEaster... so far we have power BUT....??? Ya never know. We already had an inch of snow at 3 when I did the dawgs...lol.... they had us in the "dusting to 1"... but I guess they made a BooBoo. It is around 4 inches I'd say... could be more...very wet... Poor trees!
Bad enough to wake up grumpy from Elections. We also Lost our Scott Brown Senator.... and we liked him here in his hometown... Oh Well.. this IS Massachusetts... and we like it here. Also have Lots of liberal friends and family... so we can just bug them even more if the next 4 yrs go badly too.... I hate politics and really feel it brings out the WORST in the human race... I'm just glad the election season is OVER...

pttm08.... you will be TIRED after your weekend adventures! lol... hope you get the HELP you will need and have a blast too!!!

OK, gonna go see what's been up on here. Work hard to keep our hunting rights and dog ownership etc.... Keep the kids learning about hunting and hounds and don't give in to the despair!!!!

HAPPYHUNTING Heather
