I've been doing real good. I was medically retired from the Army, guess you can say when things go boom things go bad lol! I'm back up here in kokomo now and ready for this weather to break like you! Hope that knee isn't to bad, I'm gonna have to come up for a hunt in those blueberry woods ya took me to last time, man those we good lol! Our rqe is the 15th out of our new club house in peru. Depending on how things work out I may turn one loose for it bbut that's weather dependent. Best wishes and hope ya have a speedy recovery.

You had a dog back in the mid 90's, I think you called him Bad Eye. I also believe he was a older dog at that time? What was he out of? We drew out together at English Days and you guided that year.

Ive hunted lots of dogs, from lots of bloodlines, Bingo IMO is the one dog (at the very least the one commen thread) that took English from ho hum to hot ****. not only in performance, but in reproducers as well. the % of not only solid preformers, but preformers that reproduced the same, is the stuff legends are made of.

Bobby, You are right..These Thunder hounds are not only coon hounds they are your buddys to a fault...I can not lookout any window from daylight to after dark when Gun is not watching the house for any sign of me..He will stand up on kennel and bark whenever he sees me....6 more inches of snow last night ha...got Smoke down to Eric's for some hunting...Its just great to have friends like that....can't make S.E.D. this so hope to see you in June....take care....Larry

was it Cloud or JR you were telling me you could handle without a leash.......

I remember you saying something about it when I had Loose at AO...but cant remember what dog you said..

from what I have seen from the Thunder dogs who have been here, building on that buddy relationship is the key to bringing out there best.

though not a true "thunder" dog, Loose did carry thunder blood. He always preformed his best when I was handling, though he won hunts under several handlers.

I have one of those kind of " Thunder" hounds at my house, have not had to lead him out of the woods sense he turned 1 year old.... 10 yards from a tree with a coon in it and you can cut him any direction and he is not coming back to the same tree.... To many people breed for things that dont make it a pleasure to hunt these hounds are fun and also tree real coons.. Thanks again for mine Larry.. He has became my buddy too..

Mr. Wilcox I just wanted to say I admire what you've done for the english breed over the years. You've created your own line of great dogs. And I think that is awesome. I am a huge fan of the Wilcox blood. I have a young male out of gun and a all grand horn female. He's 11 months old and doing pretty good. If it wasn't for the harsh winter and not gettiing to hunt as much as I would have liked to I think he would be treeing his own by now. He is a awesome hound, listens well and has alot of sense.Along with a huge mouth. Just wanted to say thanks, keep up the good work. And I hope to meet you one day.
