Good Luck to you and I m sure you ll get plenty of good hunts and pups out of her.not many coon hunters can handle this type of hound.to much drive for them.keep me updated.You can call me anytime.

Wow did we get a storm 80 mile winds and it had great force.two 5 gal .buckets filled up with water in 10 min.or less. hail and all.what a cool down. we went from 98 to 70 now.hounds all ok.I m sure the corn fields have extensive damaged between no rain and winds. just wanted to comment on the storms.

I had a horrible bear season this year, which closed on June 30th.
Had 4 hounds lost for over a week, the first week of June, and only got three of them back. It took a week to get them back into good health. The one pup out of Little Blue and Skipper never did find her.
While out looking I slipped and wrecked my shoulder, so my son Calib had to hunt my dogs. . He did a bang up job with his Blue, who is out of Larry's Rocky. He is a one man bear pack and has a distinct love of fighting a bear. Bayed up three bears that were shot on the ground. He is the male we are trying to breed to Pilot.
We did get Pilot on four bears after we got her from Larry. She is an awesome dog so we are looking forward to making that cross.
She is a real pleasure to have.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder,I hope you a speedy recovery.
I know that cross was a very good cross.Stinger sure put the track speed in his offspring.im not taking anything away from the females they were speedy hounds themselves.I sure wish you luck getting pups off of those two ought to be some real game catchers .
I`ve been wanting to take a female up to Dennis Upson and breed to Little Blue.I had a natural off of him and Copper that was doing as nice as any young hound that i had seen,she was hit by a truck an killed.she was a real good looking young hound, I called her Pepper.
Is Skipper in season now? you ll prolly keep most of those pups for yours self or not ???
Keep in touch.I m glad your happy with her.All but 2 of her littermates were something extra nice.

Pilot is in heat now, but I was never able to buy Skipper from that young fella in Montana. I believe Matt Nohr is coming out west to visit Larry and is brining Rocky back with him. I haven't spoken with Mike in the last few days so not sure how he made out breeding Rocky.
Will definitly keep in contact and let you know how Pilot is doing.

I didn`t know Larry sold her.John Gill has Meadowwoods Kennels has Pilots littermate he calls her Abby. she`s a natural, John said she is his cornerstone of his kennel.she just is going out of heat also.Ken Hitchcock has the 2 littermate males.I have one here and the other female is in Ky.I lost track of her.How old is Blue? I `ve had good luck crossing Dennis Upson`s line back on Stinger.should be a good cross for you.I hope you get a good healthy litter from the 2.

Blue just turned 3, but the way he hunts may get him in trouble one day. She started bleeding on the 21st of June, but just started swelling the other day. They play and tease, but he isn't mounting her yet. I will put them together tomorrow and leave them for the next few days. She is still bleeding so I think she just started early. Hope so I am really excited about that cross

I hope you get her mated to Blue.I bet you`ll get a good pack out of them.you can call me anytime.I know two of Pilots littermates can` t be bought for pocket change anyway.I`m glad your happy with her.

Hounds are doing good with the heat.couple more days suppose to be 103 here tommorow.weve never experienced heat like this,but are faring well.

I`m getting questions about Kid and why I like him so much .If you go hunting with him theirs not to much not to like about him. he is great about treeing coon nothing flashy just when you turn him loose you know he`s gonna get under one and in short fashion.Kid don`t naw, chew and here one that chew`s won`t stay.He s winner and I feel he is gonna reproduce winners.
Kid is from 6 generations of hounds that were natural starters.these were hounds that I coon hunted night in and out.
Kid is capable of winning any cast he`s in. he is action packed.but not to a fault that he won`t get off couple time s by himself in a 2 hour hunt.he `s not fussy in any way and you never know he s here not a kennel barker.just a few reason s I like him.I think h `s gonna be the biggest impact that i`ve had here at the house.

Thanks for reading and call and set up a hunt with Kid or one of my females.

I had a great hunt tonight, I had the pleasure of my Grand Daughter Kerstin going with me.she handled BJ and I took Kid and John Plieman had Rebel which is off of Stinger also. Kid looked smooth as usual and kerstin had a great time seeing 2 single coon and a few more trees we didn`t find any.Its still dry but was good getting out.I saw first hand from the wind damage the big tree s knocked over.coon are gonna have fun running out of these trees. numerous trees knocked over and run into mutilple trees.I `m hoping Kerstin will be ready to hit it again tommorow night.she has out grown her first set of boots and chaps.Lucky for for her I had my daughters boots and chaps here and they fit her perfect.hard to believe she is 10 and feels at ease with the hounds.until next time happy hunting.

I had a good hunt with Tom Jennings and Vic Stoll tonight.Thanks guys for inviting me we had had good hunt.Ol Kid was glad to get out again.Vic try to make it up when we can stay out longer and go for breakfest next time.

We got Pilot bred Matt. She was just having an irregular heat, and on the 18th day after the first sign, we got her bred to Blue.
So excited. If they are anything like their parents, these pups should be hard going bear hounds for sure.

I m glad you got it done.That should be a great cross. I `m glad your liking her.you should be able to get some great hounds out of the cross.I made that cross twice and both were nice.you should get some leggy hounds that are built to run.I`m sure you`ll be happy.

IT IS A GREAT DAY FOR US HERE MY SON TJ MADE IT HOME FROM AFG.
HE IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND SPENDING TIME WITH KERSTIN.

THE SMILES SHE HAD HELPING ME WITH THE PUPS WAS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE ONE SHE HAD WHEN SHE SEEN HER DADDY.

The hounds are looking real well I was lucky enough to run the hounds 4 night s last week.not getting out as much this week.thanks for the calls and the text i enjoy corresponding with everybody.Thanks for letting me know how your pups and hounds are doing.

He is enjoying his time back home.He had a big smile on his face when he seen where you was from.
I m glad you did the mating and I hope she has a nice litter for you.
Too bad about your young female out of Little Blue.My friend Tom is wanting to breed his female to him and I have one here I want to get bred to him also.I had one out of him and copper that was a real nice young hound that had all the tools to be something nice and I got her ran over.
So hopefully we can get a few coonhounds mated to him he sure throws nice hounds.

Enjoying the cool down,
We took Kid and Bj to coatsville In.picked up points on Bj in the show and Kid won his cast with 200 plus and no minus.he took us deep on one and it was a sugar maple and we couldnt find the coon. we had a good cast and a good showing from the bluetick men.
I met Lance kiser and he was hunting a big hound he called Blaze and got to see him tree a coon by himselve.
Penny went with me and did a great job driving us back she did the last two hours while of course I was prolly asleep by the time she hit 65 mph.

Yea Lance is a good guy and I`m sure he`s fun to hunt with. Blaze, looked good on the coon he treed.
My Pups arelooking good out of Kid and Sunni.I took new pictures and bought acard reader and i`m gonna try it in a few min. so mabe new up todate pictures.

I `m just getting in from a good hunt with Tom Jennings and Ted Larger.Tom is doing real good with his knee.
when we started tonight we let the lightning and hard rain go by.we managed to see quite a few eye balls above Image and Kid he had a few staring down on him also.dropped Tom and Ted of and went on and treed another.we sure had a well needed rain.sounds like another storm is working to the north of us now.
I want to congradulate the guys who are getting pups off of Kid he is reproducing real nice and It looks like he is reproducing quick starters with big mouths.looks to spare !!! Thanks for choosing a pup off of Kid.

Paul Johnson made the trip up from WV. and brought his Queen female.Tom Jennings came along with Image.we managed to tree 9 with the hounds.we invited Paul back up for A.O. `s
I think he was satisfied with the way Kid Operated last night he took a Kid X Sunni pup home with him.I do have a add in Aug.Bloodlines page 48 on Kid and Sunni and Lou.Pups take a look. I feel kid is going to reproduce real nice and I feel both crosses will be easy starters.

Tom is doing good,won`t be long he `ll be making the trips in to handle Image and Baby Six.

Just getting in and we had a real nice hunt we took a drive up to ST. MARYS Jeremy Bayless brought Buckeye and I took Sunni for the first time since she had her pups.she really looked good.we looked at 11 or 12 with the hounds.Hard for me to stop hunting when the coon are moving so good.
Jeremy got to see Kid go again and I think he was surprised on well he did his thing.'
I must admit I forgot how nice of tree dog Sunni is and she has a clear ringing chop on the tree. good to hear her roll up treed.I m liking this cross a little more. gotta go 5:30 will be here soon.
