I hope everyone had a great weekend.

It was in the upper 60's today with lots of sunshine.

Dan - I love the pics.

Shannon - congrats to your dad.

Heather - just be thankful you don't have to root for the Browns.

WB - looks like you guys are having fun and killing some coons. You guys are lucky to have season come in that early, our season is still almost 3 weeks away. Are you and DL going to be able to come to Ohio?

I hope everyone has a great week.

Well ... Good afternoon !!
Y'all are something else .... Hahahahaha !!

Yep .. Went to woods to hunt sat. To the bench show, field trial, water race and night hunt.. Me and Christian had a BLAST !!! Dad babysat Molly for me .. And the 18 year old didn't get to come with us.. He couldn't get off of work .. Ugh .. He was very upset .. But he's coming with me the next event the 3 of nov. and maybe the one on the 10th.. He's already asked off ..and guys .... I never hunt with a fellow with out one if my children with me .. Y'all know that .. Lol ... We didn't get back to dads until 3:30 Sunday morning .. So me and Christian stay all day with dad.. He wasn't feeling well and Christian helped him build his huge storage for his hay to stay in.. We got home about 12 last night .. Strawberry stayed with us too ..

Dad has a huge .. Important race this week ..so strawberry , Christian and myself will be up at dads watching over his place and exercising his young birds while he's gone .. And babysitting his dogs..and jingles (the cow) . I'll be driving the tractor !!! Yee-haw ... Lol ..

Tony took home the metal for bench show with his cousins Bluetick "dice" a pretty nice looking blue .. With a beautiful brawl ..and rem-me won the water race .. Tony didn't enter the hunt so .. About 8-10 of us all pleasure hunted from 8-1 that night .. Had a great time .. Learned some very important lessons .... They are simple lessons ... But great ones !!! I'll post a few pics .. Of the blue taking win over the red !! Hee hee .. I sent a couple of you the video of all the blues on the tree !!! I was in Bluetick heaven ..

I'll tell you one thing ... I was glad that when me light went out .. That I could sure depend on my new iPhone 5 to Brighten up the path .. Geeee .. Every one thinks I'm crazy ... I never fret ... I just said .... Hey , we ain't gonna stop hunting bc I don't have a light ... Hell I got my cell phone light ... Lets roll on .. And we did !!

I sure do wish that I could spend a week with some one , just to teach me some things that would help me in a hunt and how to train my blue .. There's soooo much to learn .. It over whelms me sometimes .. But I'm all in ... Until the very end !!

Hey ... Great ... Great .... Great ... Pic.. Dan .. I'll be ready for those mountains !!!!!! Watch out here I come !! All of you always make my day !!

James ... Tony got me on a blond joke ... Lmao .. Then I turned around and told him one of yours That you posted ... He's was rolling .. Laughing ..

Corky .. I've missed ya .. Dad doesn't have great signal ..

Hey ... John .. And pt !!!

Wb ... Thanks for your help ..

King Richard ... Where are ya ... Just checking !!

Heather ... Remember .. You're the sweetest !!

Link ... You been babysitting ???? (The couch) or cleaning for the boss.. You better get out in those woods !!!! Wb needs ya !!

Bubba had shingles. Those of us who spend much time in a doctor's office should appreciate this! Doesn't it seem more and more that physicians are running their practices like an assembly line?

Here's what happened to Bubba:

Bubba walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Bubba said: 'Shingles.' So she wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat.

Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aide came out and asked Bubba what he had.

Bubba said, 'Shingles' So she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Bubba to wait in the examining room.

A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Bubba what he had. Bubba said, 'Shingles...' So the nurse gave Bubba a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Bubba to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor.

An hour later the doctor came in and found Bubba sitting patiently in the nude and asked Bubba what he had.

Bubba said, 'Shingles.' The doctor asked, 'Where?'

Bubba said, 'Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload 'em??

A tourist wanders into a back-alley antique shop in San Francisco's Chinatown. Picking through the objects on display he discovers a detailed, life-sized bronze sculpture of a rat. The sculpture is so interesting and unique that he picks it up and asks the shop owner what it costs.

"Twelve dollars for the rat, sir," says the shop owner, "and a thousand dollars more for the story behind it."

"You can keep the story, old man," he replies, "but I'll take the rat."

The transaction complete, the tourist leaves the store with the bronze rat under his arm. As he crosses the street in front of the store, two live rats emerge from a sewer drain and fall into step behind him. Nervously looking over his shoulder, he begins to walk faster, but every time he passes another sewer drain, more rats come out and follow him. By the time he's walked two blocks, at least a hundred rats are at his heels, and people begin to point and shout. He walks even faster, and soon breaks into a trot as multitudes of rats swarm from sewers, basements, vacant lots, and abandoned cars. Rats by the thousands are at his heels, and as he sees the waterfront at the bottom of the hill, he panics and starts to run full tilt.

No matter how fast he runs, the rats keep up, squealing hideously, now not just thousands but millions, so that by the time he comes rushing up to the water's edge a trail of rats twelve city blocks long is behind him. Making a mighty leap, he jumps up onto a light post, grasping it with one arm while he hurls the bronze rat into San Francisco Bay with the other, as far as he can heave it. Pulling his legs up and clinging to the light post, he watches in amazement as the seething tide of rats surges over the breakwater into the sea, where they drown.

Shaken and mumbling, he makes his way back to the antique shop.

"Ah, so you've come back for the rest of the story," says the owner.

"No," says the tourist, "I was wondering if you have a bronze lawyer."

A young farm couple, Homer and Darlene, got married and just couldn't seem to get enough lovin'. In the morning, before Homer left the house for the fields, they made love. When Homer came back from the fields, they made love. And again at bedtime, they made love.

The problem was their nooner; it took Homer a half hour to travel home and another half hour to return to the fields and he just wasn't getting enough work done. Finally Homer asked the town doctor what to do.

"Homer," said the doctor, "just take your rifle out to the field with you and when you're in the mood, fire off a shot into the air. That will be Darlene's signal to come out to you. Then you won't lose any field time."

They tried Doc's advice and it worked well for a while. Homer came back to the doctor's office..

"What's wrong?" asked the Doc. "Didn't my idea work?"

"Oh, it worked real good," said Homer. "Whenever I was in the mood, I fired off a shot like you said and Darlene'd come runnin'. We'd find a secluded place, make love, and then she'd go back home again."

"Good, Homer. So what's the problem?" asked the Doc.

"I ain't seen her since huntin' season started."
