update on my Clyde x Chance female. Ive had her in 2 hunts first hunt she did ok but at the end of the nite it was a dead cast. 2nd hunt i put her in she was first strike every time had 2nd tree on the first dump but it was a den tree, second dump first tree another den tree, third dump first tree/ split from the other dogs other dogs left there tree 2 min into it and went on trailing mine stay treed and had 2 coon so i ended up with +225 and won the hunt so now shes got a 1st. Im going to put her in a hunt every weekend this month hope she keeps it up.

Nice pics Carl. Dance, JR, and Chief are all looking real good......getting in shape for season. Can't believe it is almost that time of year already. Loved the pic of Grandpa & Grandma with their grandbabies too!

Dale, Scarlett is looking great. Keep up the good work with her. Our Ox x Dice female is in heat now, but hopefully Aubrey will start running them in the woods here soon.

He took Rattle (Rip x Star) and Tater (Rip x Maggie) last night. Dogs had a good running track, and locked down treed with the meat.

I'm hunting her by herself now. She actually does better alone because then there is nobody to play with. Alot of puupy in her yet but she is so much of a natural. She doesnt finish all of her tracks yet but it is really dry out there right now. And she is not even 10 months old yet. When she finish them she gives 3 dying bawl locates and starts to rap them off. She has a very good mouth that will carry along ways also. I took Scarlett out again by herself tonight. Struck a track in the cornfield and ran it for about 15-20 minutes before it climbed. She loaded up on it and stayed hooked for about 5 minutes til I could get to her. She had a sow. (Ask me how I know it was a sow? Ha Ha) What a fun little dog to hunt and she wont be 10 months old for a couple of weeks yet. Thanks for making this cross and allowing me a chance at one. Dale Sandell

Dale, Aubrey has been meaning to give you a call, but it has been busy around here lately. From the text and updates here, it sounds like you're doing a great job with Scarlett & she is coming along nice. Keep up the good work with her, and keep us posted on her progress. Dice whelped 6 pups on Friday. Hopefully the Tater X Dice pups will be real whipper-snappers like the Ox x Dice pups!
