A wet Tuesday mornin & a chilly 47,what a rollercoaster of weather,10 4 on the Walker dogs Nate,that's what I ended up with had Blues & English hunted with a dandy Redbone a guy had & some not my cup of tea Black and Tans,good for them he fed 'em cause I sure wouldn't of .... not dog food anyway,know what I mean Vern.?
I never had a coondog. I had labs and hunted pheasants when I lived up in Iowa and was stationed in Kansas but there is none of that down here. Trapped for years and with fur so cheap and coons so plentiful cause nobody was trapping them anymore, decided to get one. After my last lab passed, I knew I needed something to keep me out and moving in the woods. Always been a fan of Mafia related Tv shows and movies. Got on here and there happened to be a fella that was selling some pups out Redneck Mafia line and so it be. He is 18 months. Going into it blind and not the best trainer by any means but I'm trying to figure it out and he has really started taking off of late as long as I can get him out there around all this rain and my low-lying flooded ground. Pretty stiff east wind today, calling for flash flooding

Well I've found a bunch of so called self pro trainers but the truth is,I ain't never seen a professional yet seen some mighty fine ones but no pros & I for one ain't no pro for sure,but tried my best & usually had a few good hounds,if it's in 'em it'll come out if it ain't there it will never be that's my advice to you best wishes with the hound.

hot humid day here still 87 started opening the money hole for the wife another johnny big rigger ran through the stop sign below the truck stop run up over the bank across the road through some cement barriers i drove for yrs still can't figure how they get enough speed up to jump that bank

We got a new guy drivin my old binder I started with now I'm in a K whopper there ain't no grill in the old binder today I noticed I ain't figured that one out since I gave it up & he's been roddin it it's been in the shop at least once a week if not more....don't ask me how come.

Had thunderstorms move thru around2:30 this mornin it's 67 & a warm breeze,I had a woman yesterday w/ a little kid in her car come off a country road never even stop & head south in front of me & I know she had to see me good thing there wasn't nobody in the north bound lane & layed on the horn & hope she had ta go home & clean her draws out.

Yep earlier this week they had a big time crash on I-70 down around Mt. Vernon,Il. Never heard if it was just 4 wheelers or not. Got a no rain 67 degrees so far.
