Hello friends. It was 43 when I left at for work at 5:30 this morning. The high today was 73.

lyle - my condolences on the passing of your friends dad.

Heather - I am glad your sons gf is getting better.

Corky - You are right, this is good hunting weather. I haven't been going much because of the heat but I have gone the last couple of Saturdays. Since it has cooled down a little I plan on going out a little more often. We treed 2 coons and had a den tree Saturday.

...Bob and I are GOING TO BE THEM! Richard and Elizabeth are pregnant and due some time around mid April! WOOoooHOoooo! We've known for a couple weeks(and been BURSTING to tell! lol) But they are telling people in order. They still have a few friends and family to tell but I got permission to share with youall! We are VERY excited!

Lyle, we will pray for your friend and for you as well for your loss. SOrry to hear!

I got NOTHING done today that I wanted. I did stuff but not the stuff I HAD to do...and I DID get a big old nap in...but still feel exhausted! I never even got caught up on HERE last night so I'm all messed up in the breed forums checking out what I read and didn't read yet...hate when that happens.

Hope you all have a Great night and perhaps a bit more of the nice cool weather! Was downright chilly here for a couple days...PERFECT really but a Heat Up coming I hear.....

Well I got a call from ken at 12:00 tonight ...to get up and come down to the river .. He had something to show me ... Ken and Andy caught a 12 ft gator weighing 560 !! Wow !!!

So how do you cook it???
Are you going to make those gator claw back scratchers?
What did they kill it with?
Are you getting a new gator leather jacket or boots?
It would be cool to to shoot one but the heck if i would want to live there with them things livin there.

Another night out in the woods, Did not see any meat two holes and a nasty mess of tree tops on the creek bank. Hoping to get out a few more time this weekend.

Bb... He killed it with a bow ..and I'd love to make me some boots out of it !! Lol... They killed it in the savannah river ... Where a lot of teenager and boater swim and knee board .. Lol ... Not me ..there are a lot of gators around here .. These pic's do not do this gator justices !!! 12 foot long !!! 560 !! Geeeee I was amazed !!! Andy took it home .. I know the meat on the tail is pretty good.. As for now ..I'm not sure what they are going to do with it .. It want go to waste knowing ken ...... The guys are back at work with out any sleep .. I'm sure they have a plan .. I just don't know about it yet !!!

rule # 3 who has extra ammo because there is a few who never have any not going to mention any names here and you fin out why when start shooting which brings up a time with Lyndell Price and his new pistol and the brass laying around that tree but I will say one thing ole Price has the connections he got a plane for a ammo dump at 2 in the morning
