Donald Trump's Employees Don't Share Wealth in 401(k) Plan
Bloomberg
By Richard Rubin
July 7, 2015 11:14 AM
Donald Trump has built billions of dollars in personal wealth. His employees aren't getting much of it.
1. Is Donald Trump Helping or Hurting the GOP? Bloomberg

2. Donald Trump is worth at least $1.5 billion, campaign filing shows MarketWatch
3. Surprise: Donald Trump Surges Even More Bloomberg
4. Trump Claims Net Worth Over $10 Billion as He Files Disclosure Bloomberg
5. Trump Claims Net Worth Over $10 Billion Bloomberg

The Republican presidential candidate operates a stingy 401(k) plan for his workers, according to government filings.

If you can jump through hoops and endure years of working for Trump, his matching contributions are actually more generous than average. If you contribute 6 percent of your salary, Trump will kick in 4.5 percent.

But there's a catch. You can't even join the plan until you spend a year as a Trump employee. Call it an apprenticeship.

Then, if you want that matching contribution, you have to wait until the end of a calendar year. Leave—or get fired—in October, and you get nothing.

Even if you stay, Trump's contribution doesn't completely belong to you for six years. That vesting schedule is the slowest allowed under U.S. law.

And if you worked for Trump from March 1, 2009 through June 30, 2012, you were out of luck entirely. Trump, who claimed an $8.7 billion net worth last month, suspended all employer contributions to 401(k)s for more than three years.
More from Bloomberg.com:

More to follow.

Koch Industries employ average salaries world wide.
Employees world wide 100,00employees in USA 60,000
Employees Female 39%. Male 61%
Salary ranges $41,788 to $99,869 Plus Benefits.

These salaries are about equal to salaries paid by most other industries. Don't look like SLAVE wages.

Anyone can say anything they want off the top of their head but usually the facts will prove they are wrong when they don't do any research to back up their claims.
Not sticking up for Koch Ind. as I never worked for them, only posting FACTS.

Got to love those honest reporting of the Koch brothers lol.

Koch Brothers Takes $88 Million in Corporate Welfare
Mar 09, 2014 2:18pm PDT by Eternal Hope

Koch Brothers likes to champion themselves as crusaders against the welfare state. But a new report shows that they took $88 million of your taxpayer dollars while demanding that governments stop wasting taxpayer dollars. In total, $110 billion goes out to corporate welfare projects from state and local authorities. This does not even include money coming from federal sources.

Entitled “Subsidizing the Corporate One Percent,” the report from the taxpayer watchdog group Good Jobs First shows that the world’s largest companies aren’t models of self-sufficiency and unbridled capitalism. To the contrary, they’re propped up by billions of dollars in welfare payments from state and local governments.
Such subsidies might be a bit more defensible if they were being doled out in a way that promoted upstart entrepreneurialism. But as the study also shows, a full “three-quarters of all the economic development dollars awarded and disclosed by state and local governments have gone to just 965 large corporations”—not to the small businesses and startups that politicians so often pretend to care about.

In dollar figures, that’s a whopping $110 billion going to big companies. Fortune 500 firms alone receive more than 16,000 subsidies at a total cost of $63 billion.

The report itself (PDF) goes into more detail.

We can also for the first time identify which companies have received the most cumulative awards, both in dollar terms and number of awards. In dollar terms, the biggest recipient by far is Boeing, with a total of more than $13 billion, reflecting the giant deals it has gotten in Washington and South Carolina as well as more than 130 smaller deals around the country. The others at the top of the cumulative subsidy dollar list are: Alcoa ($5.6 billion), Intel ($3.9 billion), General Motors ($3.5 billion) and Ford Motor ($2.5 billion).
And Dow Chemical has the highest number of awards.
The company with the largest number of awards is Dow Chemical, with 416. Following it are Berkshire Hathaway (310), General Motors (307), Wal-Mart Stores (261), General Electric (255), Walgreen (225) and FedEx (222). Fortyeight companies have received more than 100 individual awards.
This shows that a lot of programs touted by politicians as "economic development" programs actually go to corporations who don't need the money. While some of these programs can provide jobs for the community, they also create a lot of hardships when these companies decide to leave town. And they create a lot of empty buildings that the taxpayers frequently have to clean up after.
By contrast, California farmworkers who are living in third world conditions get nothing.

For California’s farmworkers, toiling all day in the brutal, sun-scorched fields is hard enough; the homes they return to each night are often in even worse conditions. Though the reforms won by previous generations have extended basic labor and safety protections to seasonal and immigrant farmworkers, many remain shut out of the right to decent accommodations.
According to a new report published by California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA), the housing crisis in the agricultural workforce has worsened over the last generation. Despite the locavore fads and slow-food diets that have infused today’s farm-fresh produce with an air of glamour, as a workplace, the fields still echo the social marginalization and scandalous poverty that sparked the groundbreaking grape boycott of the late 1960s.

Don Villarejo, the longtime farmworker advocate who authored the report, tells In These Times that growers have “systematically” reduced investment in farmworker housing over the past 25 years in order to reduce overhead costs and to avoid the trouble of meeting state and federal regulations, which were established as part of a broader overhaul of agricultural labor, health and safety standards during the 1960s and 1980s. According to Villarejo, workers’ modern material circumstances are little improved from the old days of the Bracero system. That initiative—the precursor to our modern-day guestworker migrant program—became notorious for shunting laborers into spartan cabins, tents and other inhospitable dwellings on the farms themselves, beset with entrenched poverty and unhealthy, brutish conditions.

Trickle down economics is still alive and well 25 years after Ronald Reagan left office. Unfortunately, not enough of it trickles down to the workers who have to work 12 hours a day just to make a living.

JR Clancy, if you are going to answer my posts please use a more reputable source then the SOCIALIST Daily Kos.
The funniest thing about your post is calling the Republicans socialists and then using the Daily Kos as a source which is total socialist rag.

i wonder just what it is that they are calling subsidies. i suspect most of them are from tax write off of capital improvents and investments, such as new equipment and depreciation which is seen as a lose and the tax code doesn't require them to pay taxes on losses.. the anti capitalist call these things government handout to big businesses.

Dems and Reps are both wrong on guns
It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.

For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check
I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.

Trump is not for gun control? Only wants to control what you can own. Tell me what is an assault rifle? AR rifles are semi auto, they work the same as any other semi auto rifle. The term AR= assault Rifle was coined by the anti gun activists.
The "AR" designation comes from the name of the company that produced the firearm - Armalite.

It is a common misconception that it stands for "assault rifle."

From Wikipedia:
"The AR-15 is based on the 7.62mm AR-10, designed by Eugene Stoner of the Fairchild ArmaLite corporation. The AR-15 was developed as a lighter, 5.56mm caliber version of the AR-10. (The "AR" in AR-15 comes from the Armalite name and does not stand for 'assault rifle' as is commonly believed.)"

More on Trunp,
Over the past decade, Trump has given massive amounts of money not only to Democrats but the most liberal and most corrupt Democrats, such as Charles Schumer, Frank Lautenberg, Ted Kennedy, Harry Reid and Charlie Rangel. He has given $116,000 in recent years to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. He supported John Kerry in 2004…

That’s no small amount of aid and comfort…

Still, that was then, this is now. People change. Trump, in particular, has done a major reversal on another hot-button issue. So perhaps he’ll come through for those favoring choice on guns?

Perhaps. He should be given the chance to further define his views, and if he begins an official campaign in earnest, gun owners should see if he’s willing to employ his trademark candor and provide unequivocal answers to some questions designed to establish just what “shall not be infringed” means to him.

But without a major (and most importantly, credible) turnaround, there are only two words gun owners can presently say to this aspiring political apprentice:

“You’re fired.”

I sure like the way Trump and Cruz talk and act.

This was and email from a friend and thought I would share. THINK he has it all covered.

I Am the Democratic, Republican Liberal-Progressive's Worst Nightmare.

I am a White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, American Veteran, Gun Owning Biker. That’s me!

I am a Master Mason. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living.

I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don't push it on
others. I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive American-made cars, and I believe in American products, and buy them whenever I can.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal
governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, that wants to share it with others who don't work!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and
does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you
should do it in English.

I believe there should be no other language option.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are Malcolm Forbes, Bill Gates, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson, who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.*

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, nor was I a slave. I haven't burned any
witches or been persecuted by the Turks, and neither have you!

I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where
you came from and change your own country!

This is AMERICA ... We like it the way it is and more so the way it
was ... so stop trying to change it to look like Russia or China , or some other socialist country!

If you were born here and don't like it... you are free to move to any
Socialist country that will have you. I believe it is time to really clean
house, starting with the White House, the seat of our biggest problems.

I want to know which church is it, exactly, where the Reverend Jesse
Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution?*

Can I get an AMEN on that one?*

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking
the law, regardless of what color you are, but not just because you happen to ride a bike.

And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license. I
think it's good....And I'm proud that 'God' is written on my money.

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want
you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.*

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me
stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause.... Get
a job and do your part to support yourself and your family!

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two
parents....

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think!*

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA!

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

If you are a BAD American too, please forward this to everyone you
know.... We want our country back! My Country..... I hope this offends all illegal aliens.

My great, great, great, great grandfather watched and bled as his
friends died in the Revolution & the War of 1812.

My great, great, great grandfather watched as his friends died in the
Mexican American War.

My great, great grandfather watched as his friends & brothers died in
the Civil War.

My great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Spanish-American War.

My grandfather watched as his friends died in WW I.

My father watched as his friends died in WW II.

I watched as my friends died in Vietnam, Panama & Desert Storm.

My son watched & bled as his friends died in Afghanistan and Iraq.

None of them died for the Mexican Flag. Everyone died for the American flag.

Texas high school students raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole,
other students took it down. Guess who was expelled... the students who took it down.

California high school students were sent home on Cinco de Mayo, because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them.

Enough is enough: This message needs to be viewed by every American and every American needs to stand up for America!

We've bent over to appease the America-haters long enough. I'm taking a stand.

I'm standing up because the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the American flag.

If you agree, stand up with me. If you disagree, please let me know.
I will gladly remove you from my e-mail list.

And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message.

AMERICANS, stop giving away Your RIGHTS!!*

Let me make this clear! THIS IS MY COUNTRY!!

This statement DOES NOT mean I'm against immigration!

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE, IN MY COUNTRY, welcome to come legally:
1. Get a sponsor!
2. Learn the LANGUAGE, as immigrants always have in the past!
3. Live by OUR rules!
4. Get a job!
5. Pay YOUR Taxes!
6. No Social Security until you have earned it and Paid for it!!
7. NOW find a place to lay your head!

If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone, then
YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!*

We've gone so far the other way . . . bent over backwards not to offend anyone.

Only AMERICANS seems to care when American Citizens are being offended!

WAKE UP America ! ! !

Yeah, why pay people wages when they can get their money from the Gov't for free?

For all you wealth redistribution guys, If you took all of the Koch's money and gave it to the likes of Mike Brown, with in five years they would have it all back. That's just how it works, some people are satisfied at min wage, some it takes six figures. being poor is a state of mind, not a sentence.

Ed, you are so right. There's a culture in this country that's growing and it's mind set is poverty and victimhood. Much of it is based on their inability or un willingness to deney themselves. they must have what they want when they want it. they spend whatever money is in their pocket before it burns a hole in it. if they have a dollar they will spend it before they can ever get another to go with it. i hear guys on here saving their money to buy a dog. i think if you're too poor to pay cash for a dog you're too poor to have a dog. you should be saving your money for an education or for many other thing before you buy a dog or just save it to have it in case of an emergcy, like a tooth ache or care repair. of course if they can use the dog to sale coon skins that might be worth it.
