Thanks Kelly for the update. I hope anyone that knows me would say that with these blue dogs I have tried to get them where they belong at a given time. I have sent or sold many young dogs and hopefully put them in the right hands. From time to time we see some reports posted on the board about how one is doing and I sure like to see that I may have made the correct decision on where to get them. That being said Kelly had contacted me on Music a couple of months ago and said he would like to buy her. I told him she really was not for sale and that I also had another guy that wanted her in Texas. I told him if I did decide to sell her that guy would get first shot. Well I did decide to let her go as the winter up here has not been good to get a young dog in the woods. I let him know that and that I was going to let the guy in Texas know. That guy never sent the money for two weeks so I told Kelly she was his if he still wanted her. Kelly has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Had the money here in two days priority mail and had a hauler pick her up on my doorstep. That is the way a dog deal should get done. Now if her breeding works and she gets in the woods she will make Kelly a nice one.

Hope all is well up your way Scott and that Spring comes early for yaw. It's nice down here now with temps in the 70's. Are you still planning on breeding Banjo to Creek and if so how soon will that be? I have always wanted to try one of your pups and if you make that cross I would like on the list, Thanks and Take Care.

I hope to make some of the hunts this year. I will be working on upgrading my kennel this year and some other projects going on this summer but plan to make a few. I have a young male out of Traveler and Creeks momma so I hope to get him started also. The local hunts will start up in a couple of weeks here too so Winter is coming to an end.

Sounds like there is a couple females bred to Banjo down in Arkansas. One is a granddaughter to Banjo and the other I am not sure of the breeding. Pups should be on the ground sometime in April.

Good to here from you. Have not had much to get on here about. I was sick for about two weeks and missed a hunt last weekend that I normally would have gone to but the doctor told me to take it a little easy or I would be sick for two more weeks. Nails is still holding out as well as Hammerhead and Creek. I have not raised a litter in over a year and would like to make a nice cross but nothing happening yet. We made a cross on a BoBo female last week with some Uncle Pen semen so we will see how that goes. Hope all is going well.

Just a quick update on my banjo pup. Make it rain is 13 months old and has treed 15-20 coon, but always with an old dog. Last night I only took her and an 8 month old pup that had never been to the woods. Rain treed two singles in the swamp and stayed hooked... looks like I have a 13 month old pup trainer..hahaha. Good job with the breeding Scott, rain is the kind of pup we all strive to produce.
